A motor controller for a pump motor is provided. The motor controller includes an input device and a memory configured to store a plurality of actuation sequences and a plurality of commands. Each actuation sequence is associated with a command. The motor controller further includes a processor coupled to the input device, the memory, and the pump motor. The processor is configured to detect at the input device, a first actuation sequence in response to the input device being actuated. The processor is further configured to perform a lookup in the memory to determine a first command corresponding to the first actuation sequence. The processor is further configured to operate the pump motor according to the first command.

Systems and methods for a pump having an onboard user interface

A rotor assembly for use in a radial flux electric motor assembly is provided. The rotor assembly includes a rotor core having a plurality of circumferentially spaced rotor poles and a plurality of magnets alternately spaced with the plurality of rotor poles. The plurality of rotor poles define a radial aperture between each pair of circumferentially adjacent rotor poles, and each radial aperture is configured to receive a magnet of the plurality of magnets therein. The rotor assembly further includes an end cap coupled to the rotor core and to the plurality of core magnets. The end cap includes a plurality of deformable members positioned between the rotor core and the plurality of magnets and configured to restrict movement of the plurality of magnets within the radial apertures. The deformable members are configured to deform upon insertion into a cavity defined between the rotor core and the plurality of magnets.

Electric machines having a radially embedded permanent magnet rotor and methods thereof

A stator assembly for use in an axial flux electric motor includes a plurality of tooth assemblies and a plurality of circumferentially-spaced stator bases that are each coupled to at least one tooth assembly. The stator assembly also includes a plurality of circumferentially-spaced bridge members. Each bridge member is configured to engage a pair of circumferentially adjacent stator bases to apply an axial pre-load force to the pair of stator bases and to create a flux path between the adjacent stator bases.

A system for liquid cooling for a motor for a pump is provided. The system includes a motor configured to be coupled to a pump to move a liquid from an inlet side of the pump associated with a first pressure to an outlet side of the pump associated with a second pressure that is greater than the first pressure. The system additionally includes a heat transfer tube adjacent to at least a portion of the motor. The heat transfer tube is configured to receive at least a portion of the liquid from the outlet side of the pump and transfer heat away from said motor using the liquid.

The electronics enclosure assembly also includes at least one plate coupled to the housing. The first wall and the plate combine to define a first channel extending through the first wall. An electric machine is provided. The machine includes a housing and a coil operably connected to the housing. The machine also includes a rotor. The rotor is rotatably secured to the housing and defines a first end of the housing which extends outwardly from a first end of the housing. The machine also includes a locking mechanism connected to the housing and selectively connected to the rotor. The locking mechanism is adapted to selectively provide a first mode in which the rotor may rotate relative to the housing and a second mode in which the rotor may not rotate relative to the housing.

The electronics enclosure defines an air passage between the electronics enclosure and the motor housing. The electronics enclosure further defines at least one air intake connected to said air passage. According to an embodiment of the invention, an electric machine is provided. The machine includes a support structure and a stator secured to the support structure. The machine also includes a rotor rotatably scoured to the support structure. The rotor defines a wall of the rotor. The machine also includes a sensor secured to the support structure and adapted to cooperate with the wall of the rotor to sense the position of the rotor relative to that of the stator.

An electric machine includes a stator having a first end and a second end and an end frame including a first cup portion arranged to at least partially contain a portion of the stator. A potting member is coupled to the stator, the end frame, and the potting cup to permanently bond the end frame, the potting cup, and the stator to one another.

A human machine interface (HMI) is selectively detachably coupled to the housing and in communication with the motor controller. An exhaust assembly for use with a gas-fired water heater that includes a hood for receiving exhaust gas from the gas-fired water heater, a housing, and a fan positioned in the housing to move exhaust gas from the hood out of the exhaust outlet. The hood includes a first hood mounting location and a second hood mounting location. The housing includes an exhaust outlet and a housing mounting location. In a first configuration, the exhaust outlet faces a first direction and the housing mounting location is aligned with and secured at the first hood mounting location. In a second configuration, the exhaust outlet faces a second direction different than the first direction and the housing mounting location is aligned with and secured at the second hood mounting location.

An electric motor assembly. A stator includes a set of windings and has a first end, a second end, and an outer radial surface. A rotor includes a shaft having an axis. A first frame supports the shaft at a first axial position. A canopy substantially surrounds the first frame. The canopy includes a fluid inlet and a fluid discharge. A second frame supports the shaft at a second axial position and includes at least one fluid outlet. A chute is positioned downstream of the canopy fluid discharge. The chute directs fluid flow along the outer radial surface of the stator towards the fluid outlet. A fan is coupled to the shaft downstream of the fluid outlet for rotation with the shaft.

The hose reel assembly includes a folding crank handle, having an easily accessible and identifiable release, an easily released water system, and an autotrack device that is easily engaged/disengaged. By improving the ease of use of such components, the amount of wear and tear on the hose reel is reduced and the life of the hose reel is extended.
