A pipeline branch arrangement that forms a piggable-Y at the intersection with the trunkline and is oriented vertically relative to the trunkline. The approach piping to all legs of the piggable-Y are configured to incorporate 3D bend or larger radii as required. This arrangement permits the passage of foam pigs, hard pigs, and smart pigs. Rotation of the piggable-Y to the vertical plane configures all of the branch piping in the vertical plane, which permits the support sled width for pipe laying to be kept to a minimum. The arrangement of the 3D bends fore and aft of the piggable-Y aligns the trunkline ends in a co-linear manner. This permits the configuration to be installed by conventional S-Lay techniques.

Pipeline branch arrangement

A vacuum system which uses water as a filtration medium to effectively capture dirt and dust particles. The vacuum system uses a canister or tank, which can be placed on a wheeled mobile frame for mobility. Within the tank, a removeable insert includes a number of equally spaced annular plates with a first of the annular plates fitting snugly against the outside wall of the tank and the next plate fitting snugly against the outside wall of a central cylindrical column. The plates then continue to alternate from outside wall of the tank to the outside wall of the column to form alternating gaps and, thus, a serpentine airflow path. The bottom portion of the tank is filled with a quantity of water sufficient to cover the bottom of an air intake port. A blower draws air, along with accompanying debris, from the intake port through the water. The water filtered air, which now contains a considerable quantity of entrained water, is then drawn through the serpentine path wherein the resulting varying air speeds, along with the eddy currents generated by this path, effectively remove the entrained water from the air.

The present invention relates to a hydrocyclone apparatus which is simple in design, more space efficient, and easier to maintain than prior art designs. The invention comprises a three chamber vessel wherein the inlet chamber is between the outlet and overflow chambers. Therefore, the inlets to the liners are between the plates dividing the vessel into separate chambers and the outlets from the liners extend directly into the end chambers the labyrinth of passages and conduits for the overflow liquid. The present invention includes a no bolt securing arrangement for securing the liners in the vessel. In particular, the liner includes a shoulder portion which abuts one of the dividing plates and an end cap which closes the open end of the vessel being in close proximity to the ends of the liners thereby securing the liners in the opening in the dividing plates. The shoulder further includes lobes to limit rotation of the shoulders. The present invention further includes a new arrangement for providing an inlet for the liner. The inlet is formed into an inlet block which is made out of a different material than the rest of the liner for abrasion resistance and is inserted into the liner through a breech opening in the side of thereof. The breech loaded inlet block is secured by a overflow plug which screws into the header end of the liner.

Cart

A cart comprises a load carrying bed, a front wheel carriage, a rear wheel carriage and a handle. The bed telescopes longitudinally to allow for loads of different lengths which are positionable directly upon the bed. A pair of front side arms and a pair of rear side arms are also telescopingly received relative to the bed and are adjustable laterally to provide for loads having different widths. The cart is collapsible into a low profile configuration for transport or storage.

The invention provides a highly space efficient solution to designing hydrocyclone vessels and the liners that are used therein. Moreover, the invention reduces the maintenance requirements for the vessels by providing the liners as units which are preassembled outside the vessel and installed in and out of the vessel without bolts or other minimally detailed process. The invention primarily includes a three chamber vessel wherein the inlet chamber is between the outlet and reject chambers. Therefore the inlet to the liners is between the plates dividing the chamber into separate chambers and the outlets from the liners extend straight into the end chambers. This avoids having to provide conduits from the reject end of the liner to a reject gallery in the plate or outside the vessel. Secondly, the design incorporated a no bolt design to secure the involute inlet into the liner and secure the liner into the opening in the plate. The reject plug at the reject end of the liner includes a shoulder portion which is particularly designed to stop the rotation of the liner by contacting the wall of the vessel and by contacting one another.
