A new package for storing bulky goods is disclosed. The package is formed from a bag having a width and depth at its base portion and meeting at a top edge, the top edge having no depth. Due to the top edge having no depth, the width of the material on the top portion of the package extends out further than the width of the material on the base portion. To create a package having streamlined aesthetic that looks nice on a shelf, the excess material in the top portion of the bag is folded into the interior of the bag to form a false side gusset. To allow for such folding the bag, in desirable embodiments, side edges of a first and second web forming the bag angle inward at between about 30 degrees and about 60 degrees at a top portion transition point on the bag.

A package includes a plurality of disposable absorbent articles and a packaging having a front panel, a back panel, a top panel, a bottom panel, and a pair of side panels. The panels cooperatively define an interior compartment. At least one of the side panels has a longitudinal central axis, a pair of side edges, a gusset disposed adjacent the top panel, and a line of weakness having a first portion disposed on one side of the longitudinal central axis, a second portion disposed on the opposite side of the longitudinal central axis, and a third portion spanning between and connecting the first and second portions. The third portion of the line of weakness is spaced from the ends of the first and second portions. The plurality of disposable absorbent articles is compressed within the interior compartment and arranged in at least one row extending between the side panels.

A dispenser is disclosed which is capable of dispensing articles from two locations. The dispenser includes first and second members pivotally connected together by a first hinge to form a first entrance into the dispenser. The first and second members are capable of housing a plurality of wet or dry, sheet-like articles. The first entrance provides reach-in access wherein multiple sheet-like articles can be withdrawn at one time. The second member also has a second entrance formed therein from which the sheet-like articles can be individually withdrawn. The dispenser further includes a third member secured to the first member by a hinge that is coaxially aligned with the first hinge. The third member is capable of pivoting on its hinge to cover the second entrance.

Dispenser capable of dispensing sheet-like articles

A dispenser is disclosed which is capable of dispensing articles from two locations. The dispenser further includes a third member secured to the second member at a first location and has a second hinge spaced apart from the first location. The first and second hinges are situated on opposite sides of the dispenser. The third member is capable of pivoting on the second hinge to cover the second entrance.

A dispenser is disclosed which can house a plurality of folded wet wipes, each having a width. The dispenser includes first and second members pivotally connected together to form an enclosed dispenser having a transverse axis. The first and second members are formed from a semi-rigid material. The dispenser has a height of about 2.5 inches or less and has a top wall with an entrance formed therein. The entrance has a surface area of from between about 15 cmto about 95 cm. The folded wet wipes having a normalized separation force between two adjacent sheets of less than about 65 g/cm. The entrance also has a dimension measured along the transverse axis that when divided by the width of one of the folded wet wipes is at least about 0.7.

The invention relates to a flexible orifice for pop-up style dispensing with a wet wipes dispenser. The orifice includes a flexible, rubber-like sheet having a top surface and a bottom surface. A continuous slit extends across the top and bottom surfaces of the sheet and enables a wet wipe to pass from the bottom surface to the top surface or from the top surface to the bottom surface. The continuous slit has at least one curved portion connected with at least one non-curved portion. Alternately, the continuous slit has at least one zigzag portion connected with a pair of end leg portions.

The invention relates to a plurality of wipes, separable joined together. Each wipe of the plurality of wipes is moistened with a liquid in an amount of about 25 percent to about 600 percent of a dry weight of the wipe. An adhesive joins together at least two wipes of the plurality of wipes. The adhesive joins the at least two wipes together with an adhesion strength per unit adhesive length greater than 0 g/cm and less than about 200 g/cm. Alternately or additionally, the adhesive joins the at least two wipes together with an adhesion strength per unit adhesive area greater than 0 g/cm and less than about 1000 g/cm .
