A storage/dispensing assembly, e.g., a roll or stack, of loop fastener material such as is used in hook and loop fastening system comprising one or more multilayer sheets of loop fastener material arranged such that the adhesive layer of an overlying portion of the loop fastener material is in direct contact with the loop layer of an underlying portion of the loop fastener material. The loops are such that, when the overlying portion of the loop fastener material is removed from the assembly, the loops of the underlying portion are presented in an engagable state. Also, a method for dispensing such loop material from such assemblies such that as the adhesive layer of the overlying portion is separated from the loops of the underlying portion, the loops of the underlying portion are presented in an engagable state.

Loop fastener material storage/dispensing assembly

A disposable tape tab for a diaper or a like article is provided with at least a fastening tape tab portion and a release tape tab portion, the fastening tape tab portion having a fastening surface which fastening surface is on a face opposite the adhesive surface face of the release tape tab portion. The fastening tape tab portion and said release tape tab portion are joined by at least one adhesive-to-substrate bond with no adhesive layer to adhesive layer contact. Preferably the fastening surface on the fastening tape tab is a pressure sensitive adhesive, with both the fastening tape tab and the release tape tab having a release layer on the face opposite the face having the adhesive layer.

Diaper fastening tape

A mechanical fastening system for a diaper or like disposable garment of a male mechanical fastening tab (e.g., a hook-type fastener) attached to a corner or edge region of the garment with a mating fibrous web on an opposing corner or edge region. The male mechanical fastening tab creates two areas of attachment, an outward portion extending beyond the first corner or edge region and an inward area extending inward of the first corner or edge region, where both areas of attachment engage the fibrous web on the opposing corner or edge. The male mechanical fastening tab with the fibrous web creates a secure non-rotational attachment using a single fastening tab.

A polyethylene-containing foam-backed absorbent article having an adhesive patch comprised of 25 to 50 parts of an A-B block copolymer and 25-50 parts of solid tackifying resin and liquid resin and/or plasticizing oil. Attachment tape for foam-backed absorbent product

There is provided an adhesive closure tab with release surfaces adjacent adhesive surfaces by coating a continuous region of a tape backing with a soluble low adhesion backsize composition, drying, then solvent zone coating an adhesive on at least one strip of said tape backing previously coated with the low adhesion backsize thereby slightly dissolving said backsize so as to promote adherence of said adhesive to said backsize.

There is provided an improved two-point diaper closure system comprised of inner mechanical and outer adhesive fastening means. The outer adhesive fastening means is used in conjuction with a release treated foraminous tab located on the diaper top sheet.

Release treated non-woven fastening tape protector

A disposable diaper can be fastened securely around a person and be refastenable when it has an adhesive patch on the faces of corners at the back of the diaper, each of which patches contacts an adhesive patch on the front of the diaper, which patches form bonds to each other that have strong resistance to shear forces, can easily be peeled apart after 2 hours at room temperature and do not adhere either to ordinary packaging materials or to nonadhesive surfaces of the diaper. All of the adhesive patches can be cut from a single adhesive tape that has a flexible backing, one face of which bears a layer of the peelable adhesive while the other layer bears a layer of an adhesive that forms a strong, permanent bond to the diaper.
