A post activation device to indicate that pressure the existed within a pressure vessel just prior to the opening of the pressure vessel and the resulting loss of pressurization, having a diaphragm, plug or piston (62, 130, 160, 330) capable of rupturing, moving or deforming in response to a pressure differential thereacross above one or more low limit values and for providing an indication of the pressure within the pressure vessel just prior to its being opened, and a support member (70), within the pressure vessel for supporting the diaphragm, plug or piston means.

A combination headliner, retainer, console for use with a modular headliner for a motor vehicle. A substrate includes a depressed portion defining an opening therein. A retainer is mounted within the opening of the depressed portion and includes means for securing console mounted thereto. A console may be mounted to the retainer or directly to the substrate. Appropriate electrical connections may then be made between the retainer and console for providing electrical energy to the console. The retainer may further include extending wings for distributing the weight of the retainer and the console over a large area of the substrate.

A switch position indicator for use in indicating the status of a push button type switch or a plurality of push button switches. A switch front (350) includes windows (352, 354) which may be selectively illuminated to advise the operator of the status of the switch. A pivoted spring (310) driven by cams (304, 306) connected to portions of the switch is utilized to control the position of a shade (312) for covering and uncovering the selected window openings to indicate the status of the switch.
