The present disclosure provides compositions, articles thereof, and methods of forming compositions. In at least one aspect, a composition includes (1) an epoxy, (2) an amino or amido hardener, (3) a polyaniline, (4) a dopant selected from a triazolyl, a thiazolyl, a quinolinyl, a salicylate, a benzoate, a glycolate, a phosphate, a sulfonate, or combination(s) thereof; and (5) a pigment selected from titanium dioxide, silica, talc, mica, aluminium stearate, or combination(s) thereof. The polyaniline+dopant comprises 6 wt % or less, by total volume of the composition. The present disclosure provides substrates having a composition disposed thereon. In at least one aspect, a method includes introducing an acid form of a polyaniline to a hydroxide to form a polyaniline hydroxide. The method includes introducing a dopant to the polyaniline hydroxide to form a doped polyaniline.

Conjugated polymer compositions, articles thereof, and methods thereof

The present disclosure provides compositions, articles thereof, and methods of forming compositions. In certain aspects, a coated steel substrate comprises a single or multiple-layer electroplated aluminum coating over a steel substrate. The multiple-layer electroplated aluminum coating comprises one or more porous layers and one or more compact layers. The one or more porous layers comprise a material selected from a group consisting of aluminum and aluminum alloys. The one or more compact layers comprise a material selected from a group consisting of aluminum and aluminum alloys. In certain aspects, a method of depositing a multiple-layer aluminum coating over a steel substrate includes electroplating one or more porous aluminum layers over the steel substrate. The one or more porous aluminum layers comprise a material selected from a group consisting of aluminum and aluminum alloys. One or more compact aluminum layers are electroplated over the steel substrate. The one or more compact aluminum layers comprise a material selected from a group consisting of aluminum and aluminum alloys.

The present disclosure relates to a cold sprayed metal coated article or a structural component having a polymeric composite material having at least one surface, a thermoplastic electrochemical insulating layer on the at least one surface, an electrical circuit may include a cold sprayed metal coating present on at least a portion of a surface of the electrochemical insulating layer, and at least one additional layer, the at least one additional layer encapsulating at least a portion of the cold sprayed metal between the additional layer and the electrochemical insulating layer. An electrolyte solution can be formed by dissolving an alkali metal citrate, an alkali metal acetate, a citric acid, and glycine in water or an aqueous solution. Electrodepositing zinc-iron alloys on a substrate can include introducing a cathode and an anode into an electrolyte solution comprising an alkali metal citrate, an alkali metal acetate, a citric acid, and glycine. Electrodepositing can further include passing a current between the cathode and the anode through the electrolyte solution to deposit zinc and iron onto the cathode.

Compositionally modulated zinc-iron multilayered coatings

The present disclosure provides alloys for coating a steel substrate, the alloys comprising aluminum and one or more of zinc, magnesium, and zirconium. The alloy coatings have a percent total pore volume of about 5% or less and an average pore diameter about 10 microns or less. The present disclosure further provides methods of depositing aluminum alloy onto a substrate, magnetron sputtering targets, and methods for making coated steel.

Electrodepositing can further include passing a current between the cathode and the anode through the electrolyte solution to deposit zinc and manganese onto the cathode.

One or more additional sol-gel composition may be applied on the substrate.
