A storage assembly for a vehicle includes a console housing including a storage compartment and an access opening to the storage compartment. The storage assembly includes a tambour door assembly having a tambour door panel configured to move between a first position to close the access opening and a second position to open the access opening. The storage assembly also has a tray assembly including the tambour door panel. The tray assembly is configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the console housing.

Storage assembly for a vehicle

A console assembly for a vehicle includes a compartment side wall. The compartment side wall extends from a compartment floor to an upper rim of the compartment side wall. The console assembly includes a receptacle side wall that extends upward from a receptacle floor of the console assembly to define a receptacle. The console assembly further includes a panel that has opposite first and second sides. The panel is pivotable between a first position and a second position. In the first position of the panel, the panel, the compartment side wall, and the compartment floor define a compartment of the console assembly, and the first side of the panel faces the compartment. In the second position, the panel covers the receptacle of the console assembly and a surface of the first side of the panel is substantially planar with a surface of the compartment floor.

A reconfigurable cup holder assembly for a vehicle comprises: (i) a base structure, and (ii) a cup holder portion pivotably coupled to the base structure about a pivot axis, the cup holder portion comprising a first cup holder and a second cup holder, each of the first cup holder and the second cup holder defining a space configured to hold a container for liquid, and the cup holder portion is pivotable about the pivot axis to, from, and between a first position relative to the base structure and a second position relative to the base structure; wherein, the pivot axis extends through the space of the first cup holder. The second cup holder can pivot greater than or equal to 75 degrees about the pivot axis when the cup holder portion moves from the first position to the second position.

The stabilizer arm is pivotable about a living hinge and is inserted into the stabilizer arm aperture. The travel guide guides radial actuation of the stabilizer arm. The biasing member biases the stabilizer arm radially inward.

The member includes a passenger accessible feature that is not accessible when the member is in a first, closed position and is accessible when the member is placed in the second, open position. The member includes two member protrusions that engage with corresponding console protrusions such that the member is slidably guided through a plurality of positions. The protrusions may have differing centers of rotation making the member rotate and project simultaneously.

A motor vehicle console includes a housing having a pair of side panels that define a storage bin having an opening and an upper panel that extends between the pair of side panels adjacent to the storage bin opening. A rigid door is supported on the housing for movement between a closed position that prevents access to the bin and an opened position that permits access to the bin. The rigid door is flush with the panel when in the closed position.
