A cable tray includes a plurality of fasteners fastening rungs to side rails. Each fastener may be a radially expandable fastener having a radially expandable portion received in one of the fastener openings of one of the rungs. Each radially expandable portion is in an expanded configuration and frictionally engages the corresponding rung inside the corresponding fastener opening to inhibit withdrawal of the radially expandable fastener from the fastener opening. Each fastener opening may be defined by an interior surface of the corresponding rung and at least one projection extending radially inward from the interior surface relative to the fastener opening. The fastener may have an engagement portion frictionally engaging the corresponding at least one projection inside the corresponding fastener opening to inhibit withdrawal of the radially expandable fastener from the corresponding fastener opening.

Ladder-type cable tray

A cable tray support includes first and second rod openings each extending through one of first and second sides of a support body to allow first and second support rods to laterally enter the respective first and second openings. First and second lateral closure members are adjacent the respective first and second openings and are movable to closed positions to inhibit the respective first and second support rods, when received in the corresponding opening, from laterally exiting the corresponding opening.

Cable tray support

A rail for a cable tray having opposite longitudinal ends includes a generally vertical web having opposite upper and lower ends, an upper flange at the upper end of the web, and a lower flange at the lower end of the web. A splice plate retention groove outboard of the vertical web and generally adjacent at least one of the opposite longitudinal ends of the rail is configured to receive a splice plate therein to facilitate positioning of the splice plate on the rail.

Load bearing support system

A cable tray junction includes floor panel and a post secured to the floor panel. The post includes a splice plate connector defining a female coupling component. A splice plate interconnects the post and a cable tray. The splice plate includes a post connector, which defines a male coupling component received in the female coupling component to connect the splice plate to the post without the use of a separate fastener. The splice plate connector may have a curved groove and the post connector may have a tongue received in the curved groove. A wall panel connector of the post defines a wall panel groove in which a wall panel is received to connect the wall panel to the post.

Cable tray junction and splice plate coupling system

A guide body for a cable guide includes a stem having an upper end, a lower end, and a longitudinal axis extending between the upper and lower ends, and base adjacent the lower end of the stem. The guide body is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the stem to configure the base from an unlocked orientation relative to the wire basket cable tray, in which the base is receivable in and removable from a floor opening of a wire basket cable tray, and a locked orientation relative to the wire basket cable tray, in which the base is secured to the wire basket cable tray in the floor opening. A snap-fit component attaches a roller retainer to a stem body by snap-fit connection when a roller is received on the stem body to retain the roller on the stem body.

Cable guide for wire basket cable tray

A cable management attachment fitting for a ladder-type cable tray includes a rung attachment portion configured to attach to a lower flange of a rung of the ladder-type cable tray without the use of an additional fastener. A cable management attachment portion extends upward from the rung attachment portion and is configured to provide a structure to which a cable management device can be secured.

A joiner system for a channel raceway includes a joiner body with first and second posts, and a joiner wall panel separate from the joiner body. The joiner wall panel connects to the joiner body between the first and second posts to form a wall between the first and second posts. First and second connecting projections extend outward from adjacent the respective first and second posts. The first and second connecting projections are spaced apart from one another and in generally opposing relationship with respect to one another. The joiner body has a snap-fit component on the lower side of a base of the joiner body. The snap-fit component mates in a snap-fit connection with a splice plate to interconnect the joiner body and at least two pieces of channel framing.
