The present invention provides for a universal holster assembly for securely storing one or more handguns. The holster assembly comprises a first and second end walls. A supporting pad is located between the first and second end walls. The first and second end walls and the supporting pad define a cradle configured for holstering a handgun. A hollow tube extends through a set of aligned openings formed in the first and second end walls and the supporting pad. A plug having a head and a body is used to secure each end of the tube. The body is inserted into an end of the tube and a head urging against an exterior surface of one of the end walls, thus securing the holster assembly. Additional cradles may be defined by adding dividing walls and additional supporting pads. Further, one or more storage compartments may also be provided.

Universal holster assembly

An apparatus operates as both a holster and a benchrest for a handgun. The apparatus comprises first and second end walls, and a supporting pad secured between the first and second end walls. As a holster, the first and second end walls and the supporting pad define a cradle adapted for holstering a handgun. The holster may also be flipped upside-down and then operated as a benchrest. When the assembly is operating as a benchrest, a barrel rest may be inserted into a barrel-rest receiver slot on the top-side of the assembly. The barrel rest has a U-channel adapted for supporting the barrel of a handgun. The supporting pad further provides a surface for supporting the grip of the handgun.

Convertible holster-and-benchrest assembly

A hole is formed through the two or more parts, and a hollow tube is extended through the hole. A first plug is inserted into a first end of the tube, and a second end of the tube is pulled through the hole until the first plug is urged against the two or more parts. The second end of the tube is then cut so that the second end is flush with the two or more parts. A second plug is then inserted into the second end of the tub.

A buffing apparatus has a shaft assembly connectable to a drill or other stationary motorized buffer/polisher. A stator is fixedly mounted on the shaft and a rotor is rotatably mounted on the shaft, and each of the stator and rotor includes a respective hub and two or more arms extending radially from the respective hub, and each of the two or more arms defines a hole. A pad having first and second holes is mounted on the shaft with an arm of the stator extending through a first hole of the pad and an arm of the rotor extending through a second hole of the pad. The pads are secured in place with a connector extending through the hole of an arm of the stator and through a hole of an arm of the rotor so that the pads are sandwiched between the shaft assembly and the connectors.

A portable cooler 10 includes an insulated body 12 presenting an interior space and an open top, and an insulated cover 14 for closing off the body. A storage compartment 16 extends through an opening 26 in the side wall 20 of the body into the interior space, and includes top, bottom and side walls 28, 30, 32 that are spaced from the bottom and side walls 18, 20 of the body and exposed to the interior space to define a dry cell within the storage compartment. An insulated compartment cover 36 closes off the opening in the side wall of the body and is movable relative to the body to provide access to the dry cell so that articles to be stored in the cooler can be isolated from the ice and water that is retained in the interior space of the cooler body.
