A convertible lamp array device comprising a spine member and a first and second side panels rotatably connected to the spine member. The spine member and the first and second side panels have at least one source of light connected thereto. The first side panel and the second side panel can be rotated relative to the spine member into an open position to allow the sources of light emit light towards a target area. The first side panel and the second side panel can be rotated in a second direction relative to the spine member to arrange the device in a closed position for storage of the device. The device is free standing in the open position to allow the device to be used without any external support.

Convertible lamp array

A method for manufacturing an anti-scatter grid including arranging a plurality of elongated metal ribbons of radio-opaque material so that each ribbon is substantially straight and lies in a plane that passes through a focal point of the grid, and placing the elongated ribbons under tension. A first sheet of radioluscent material is secured to top edges of the ribbons, and a second sheet of radioluscent material is secured to bottom edges of the ribbons. The ribbons are arranged such that the first and second radioluscent sheets are substantially parallel. Then the tension is removed from the ribbons.

Method for making X-ray anti-scatter grid

A coaxial probe for testing of planar electric transmission line structures comprising: a probe mount comprising a coaxial connector; a center electrode mounted on the probe mount and electrically connected to a center conductor of the coaxial connector, wherein the center conductor may be placed in contact with a first point on a planar electric transmission line structure to be tested; an outer electrode mounted on the probe mount and electrically connected to ground, the outer electrode comprising a protrusion to be placed in contact with a second point on the planar electric transmission line structure to be tested; and a dielectric of non-uniform thickness between the center and the outer electrodes.

Wide-bandwidth coaxial probe

In a flame ionization sensor type gas combustion control apparatus, the sensor is provided with a power supply which will increase the voltage as contamination build up occurs on the in-flame sensor electrode thereby keeping a constant sensor current and enabling the sensor to perform as intended even though insulative contaminant build up is present on the electrode.
