A multi-point door lock unit is disclosed. In one preferred form the door lock is for use with a hinged or swinging door. The door lock unit has a latch, a deadbolt, and extension bolts extendable away from the door. The door lock may be used with a double door entry whereby one door is an active door having the lock unit and a second door is a passive door having a passive lock unit. Further, the door lock unit has an activation button that prevents extension of the deadbolt and the extension bolts unless the activation button is depressed.

Multi-point door locking system

A window operator is disclosed. The window operator may be provided with a handle that may be folded from an operable (or extended) position to a stored (or retracted) position. In the window operator, a spring assembly having an integrally formed spring finger operates within a cavity in the body of the handle of the window operator to provide a securing (or positive locking) action at least in an operable position. The spring assembly may also provide a securing action in the stored (or storage) position.

Window operator

An adjustable cabinet hinge includes a door wing to be mounted on a door, a frame wing to be mounted on a frame and rotatably connected to the door wing, and an adjustment module. The adjustment module includes a substantially cylindrical, externally threaded base portion, an adjustment portion having an external shape that facilitates adjusting of the adjustment module, and an internal cavity extending through the adjustment portion and the base portion for receiving a mounting screw. The frame wing includes an internally threaded aperture configured to mesh with the externally threaded base portion of the adjustment module.

Adjustable hinge

A hinge for mounting a door to a frame includes a mounting cup having an outer perimeter adapted for mounting within a recess formed in the door and a hinge member for being mounted to the frame and coupled to the mounting cup to allow selective pivotal movement of the door with respect to the frame. The mounting cup has an outer perimeter having a first portion with a first effective outer diameter and a second portion having a second effective outer diameter, the first outer diameter being larger than the second outer diameter, the first portion being adapted to provide an interference fit within the recess when the mounting cup is inserted into the recess. The first portion of the outer perimeter may be adapted to include at least one arcuate threaded section and at least one unthreaded section. The threaded sections may be removable segments that are coupled to the outer perimeter. The hinge may also include a compliant cup or ring that encircles at least partially the outer perimeter of the mounting cup.

A latch keeper is mounted to a keeper housing in such a manner that a first portion of the latch keeper engages a latch hook on one side of a housing wall, and a second portion of the latch keeper is disposed on an opposite side of the housing wall. When the latch hook and the latch keeper are interengaged and a force is applied, the latch keeper imparts a moment force against the keeper housing.
