Personalized wall clocks and kits for making the same are disclosed herein. A kit includes an image receiving medium to receive thereon a personalized digital printed image. The image receiving medium includes a digital ink/toner receiving layer or has a digital ink/toner receiving surface structure. The kit also includes a foldable material which includes a face portion having two opposed surfaces and at least four sides. One opposed surface is to receive the image receiving medium. The foldable material includes a foldable extension extending from each side of the face portion. Each foldable extension is to be folded no less than four times toward another of the opposed surfaces to form a three-dimensional supporting frame. The kit includes a hand-moving mechanism.

In one embodiment, a kit for making a touch-sensitive personalized display includes a first medium that is foldable according to score lines to form a cavity. The first medium includes an adhesion surface to receive a personalized second medium, and a back surface opposite the adhesion surface. The second medium includes a personalization surface to receive a user selected-image, and includes a rear surface opposite the personalization surface to adhere to the first medium's adhesion surface. The kit includes a conductive touch sensing system to detect a user touch at the personalization surface and to trigger an action at an electronic device responsive to detection of the touch.

Skewing the interface between a carrier ribbon to coated document at the peeling of the carrier from the coated document concentrates the forces at the interface to a smaller region of the document edge. Moreover, tensioning the document at the interface changes the forces at the interface from peeling type to tensile type.

A method and apparatus for laminating media sheets to remove trailing edge coating debris as the carrier is removed from the laminated sheet involves imparting a transverse force to the laminated sheet to cause the sheet to abruptly straighten as the trailing edge of the sheet passes by a corner of a carrier separation bar at which the carrier is removed. The transverse force may be imparted by guides such as rollers defining a serpentine path through which the laminated sheet must travel.
