A lift apparatus includes an elongated spine having a top portion and a bottom portion, a traveler operatively connected along the elongated spine for traveling up and down the elongated spine, a single linear actuator operatively connected to the traveler configured to move the traveler up and down the spine, an arm, and a single hinge operatively connected between the traveler and the arm allowing the arm to hinge outwardly and upwardly to a dump position when the traveler is proximate the top portion of the elongated spine.

Lift assembly

An apparatus such as a shuttle bin includes an upper frame, a lower frame hingeably connected to the upper frame, a storage body operatively connected to the upper frame for storing material and a roller assembly operatively connected to the upper frame. The roller assembly is adapted to draw the storage body taut to unload the material stored in the storage body as the upper frame hinges away from the lower frame. The storage body may be formed of a pliable material such as a mesh or canvas.

Shuttle bin

The present invention is bifold field marker. The marker utilizes a marking disc mounted on the distal end of an arm. This arm is coupled to a mounting bracket which, in turn, is connected to an implement's tool bar. The arm is articulated at a central knuckle to allow the marker to fold. A hydraulic cylinder is positioned between the mounting bracket and the arm to push or pull the arm about a main pin or hinge. When the arm is in an extended horizontal position, the main pin or hinge on the mounting bracket is oriented at an angle both from the direction of travel and from the ground. This allows the hydraulic cylinder to pivot the arm about the main pin's axis and fold both sections of the arm simultaneously to a point where the marker is positioned in a compact orientation along the side of the implement.

Bifold field marker

The present invention is a bifold field marker. The marker utilizes a marking disc mounted on the distal end of an arm. This arm is coupled to a mounting bracket which, in turn, is connected to an implement's tool bar. The arm is articulated at a central knuckle to allow the marker to fold. A hydraulic cylinder is positioned between the mounting bracket and the arm to push or pull the arm about a main pin or hinge. The main pin or hinge on the mounting bracket is oriented at a 45 degree angle in both the horizontal and vertical planes. This allows the hydraulic cylinder to pivot the arm about the 45 degree axis and fold the arm simultaneously until the marker is positioned in a compact orientation along the side of the implement.

The asparagus picking machine of the present invention comprises a frame assembly which is adapted to be carried by a vehicle adjacent to the ground. A continuous picker belt assembly is mounted on the frame assembly and is trained around a forward sprocket, a rearward sprocket and a chain guide means which is located between and below the two sprockets. The picker belt assembly comprises a plurality of elongated spaced apart parallel picker bars extending parallel to the rotational forward and rearward axes of the sprockets. The belt assembly includes chains which interconnect the spaced apart picker bars. The chains are trained around the forward and rearward sprockets and are guided through the guide means so as to travel in a downward and rearward inclined path from the forward sprocket to the guide means and then through an S-shaped pattern as the chain passes through the guide means. The asparagus protruding upwardly from the ground extends between the spaced apart picker bars and is snapped off when the picker bars move into the S-shaped pattern caused by the guide.
