The presently disclosed subject matter relates to methods and apparatus associated with a slip assembly. The slip assembly comprises a plurality of slip segments, wherein each of the plurality of slip segments and a bonding substrate. The slip segments comprise: a first end having a plurality of teeth; a second end opposite the first end; and a transition section between the first end and the second end. The bonding substrate is disposed within the transition sections. The disclosed methods pertain to the manufacture and deployment of such an apparatus.

Slip assembly

A system and process relating to well fracturing and stimulation operations are provided. The system and process allow for fracturing multiple zones in a wellbore. The system and process provide for introducing a fluid through a plurality of spaced-apart sleeve assemblies wherein each sleeve assembly can be in an operable state which allows the sleeve assembly to be open or closed and can be in a non-operable state which prevents the sleeve assembly from opening or closing.

Method and apparatus for stimulating multiple intervals

A system and method comprising at least one ported sleeve assembly and a flapper assembly positioned downwell of the ported sleeve assembly. The system provides for the use of multiple ported sleeve assemblies for each stage of a hydrocarbon producing well that can be opened with a single element, and multiple stages, each have thFracturinge ability to be opened with a single element size.

Fracturing system and method

Methods and apparatus associated with a slip assembly. The slip assembly comprises a plurality of slip segments, wherein each of the plurality of slip segments and a bonding substrate. The slip segments comprise: a first end having a plurality of teeth; a second end opposite the first end; and a transition section between the first end and the second end. The bonding substrate is disposed within the transition sections.

A valve for use in fracing through cement casing in a well allows for flow of cement down the well during the cementing process and in the open position allows for fracing fluid to be directed through the cement casing for fracturing the formation adjacent the valve. The valve is constructed so as to reduce the likelihood of the valve to jam as a result of cement or other foreign material.

Valve for hydraulic fracturing through cement outside casing

Apparatuses and methods used for actuating downhole tools in which a ball is dropped from a surface of a wellbore until it contacts a ball seat of a downhole tool. The ball seat moves axially downward within the downhole tool and an expandable ball seating surface of the ball seat radially expands to pass the ball. The ball seat then moves axially upward within the downhole tool.

Method and apparatus for actuating a downhole tool

A valve includes: a housing; a mandrel disposed in the housing; a rupture disk disposed in a passageway of the mandrel; a sliding sleeve disposed between the housing and the mandrel; and a ball seat disposed in the mandrel. A method for actuating a valve includes: flowing a fluid through the valve; dropping a ball; seating the ball in the ball seat and blocking fluid flow through the mandrel; flowing fluid through the passageway to the sliding sleeve; moving the sliding sleeve axially within the valve; and exiting fluid through the openings of the housing and mandrel. A valve includes: a housing having an opening; a mandrel disposed in the housing; a sliding sleeve disposed between the housing and the mandrel; and a ball seat disposed in the mandrel blocking fluid communication between the mandrel and the passageway.

The present invention generally relates to a wellbore tool for selectively isolating a portion of a wellbore from another portion of the wellbore. In one aspect, a method of selectively isolating a zone in a wellbore is provided. The method includes the step of positioning a downhole tool in the wellbore. The downhole tool includes a bore with a first flapper member and a second flapper member disposed therein, whereby each flapper member is initially in an open position. The method also includes the step of moving the first flapper member to a closed position by rotating the first flapper member in one direction. Further, the method includes the step of moving the second flapper member to a closed position by rotating the second flapper member in an opposite direction, whereby each flapper member is movable between the open position and the closed position multiple times. In another aspect, an apparatus for isolating a zone in a wellbore is provided.

Dual flapper barrier valve

Embodiments of the present invention generally provide a more reliable variable choke flow control valve. In one embodiment, a variable choke valve for use in a wellbore is provided. The valve includes a tubular housing having an axial bore therethrough and a port through a wall thereof. The valve further includes a tubular sleeve having an axial bore therethrough and first and second holes through a wall thereof and disposed within the housing. The first hole is larger than the second hole, and the sleeve is actuatable among three positions: a first position where the first hole is aligned with the port, a second position where the second hole is aligned with the port, and a third position where the sleeve wall is aligned with the port.

Variable choke valve

All terrain vehicles and all terrain vehicle cautionary light assemblies are described according to some aspects. In one aspect, an all terrain vehicle (ATV) includes a frame, a seat coupled with the frame and configured to support an operator, a plurality of wheels coupled with the frame, and a cautionary light assembly configured to couple a cautionary light with the all terrain vehicle, wherein the cautionary light assembly is configured to provide the cautionary light in a position wherein the cautionary light is elevationally above a directional control of the all terrain vehicle and substantially out of a direct line of sight of the operator during operation of the all terrain vehicle by the operator wherein the operator is seated upon the seat and looking in a forward direction with respect to the all terrain vehicle.

All terrain vehicles (ATVs) and all vehicle (ATV) cautionary light assemblies

A first tubular is disposed coaxially within a portion of a second, larger tubular. A portion of the first tubular is expanded into frictional contact with the second tubular, thereby creating a liner and a hanger. In one embodiment, a pattern of grooves and profile cuts are formed in the surface of a portion of the first tubular body. The grooves in one aspect define a continuous pattern about the circumference of the tubular body which intersect to form a plurality of substantially identical shapes, such as diamonds. The grooves and profile cuts serve to improve the tensile strength of the tubular body. At the same time, the grooves and profile cuts allow for expansion of the tubular body by use of less radial force. The grooves and profile cuts further provide additional frictional support for hanging the expanded tubular onto the inner surface of a surrounding second tubular.

Expandable hanger and packer

A choke valve assembly is disclosed for controlling the flow of fluid through a production tubing. The valve assembly includes a housing having a plurality of axially aligned apertures and a ported sleeve disposed in the housing. The ported sleeve has a plurality of rows of fluid ports. Each row of ports has at least one port in selective fluid communication with a respective aperture. In the full open position, each aperture is in fluid communication with a port from each row. To choke the flow, the ported sleeve is rotated relative to the housing to reduce the number of ports in fluid communication with the housing. To close the valve, axial force is applied to move the ported sleeve axially relative to the housing.

Choke valve assembly for downhole flow control

An apparatus and method of creating a seal between two coaxial tubulars so as to create a hanger and a packer. A first tubular is disposed coaxially within a portion of a second, larger tubular. A portion of the first tubular is expanded into frictional contact with the second tubular, thereby creating a liner and a hanger. In one embodiment, a pattern of grooves and profile cuts are formed in the surface of a portion of the first tubular body. The grooves in one aspect define a continuous pattern about the circumference of the tubular body which intersect to form a plurality of substantially identical shapes, such as diamonds. The grooves and profile cuts serve to improve the tensile strength of the tubular body. At the same time, the grooves and profile cuts allow for expansion of the tubular body by use of less radial force. The grooves and profile cuts further provide a gripping means, providing additional frictional support for hanging the expanded tubular onto the inner surface of a surrounding second tubular.

A winch rotator is described for a receiver hitch mounted all terrain vehicle winch having a winch cable and a cable guiding fairlead through which the winch cable is threaded. The rotator includes an auxiliary receiver hitch post configured to be mounted to the receiver hitch. A support is mounted to the receiver hitch post and extends to an end where a winch mount is located, to mount a winch with the fairlead thereof oriented in a rotated, downwardly disposed position.
