A telecommunication distribution box includes a housing and an electrical component mounted in the housing. A cover plate is movably connected to the housing and is movable between open and closed positions. A lip extends outwardly from the cover plate. The lip covers the electrical component when the cover plate is in the closed position to prevent accessing and removing the electrical component.

Security mechanism for electrical components

A telecommunications aggregator enclosure includes a housing and a cover movably connected thereto. The cover is movable between open and closed positions. A printed circuit board is disposed in the housing. At least one first optical termination is connected to the printed circuit board to receive cables from a base station router. At least one second optical termination is connected to the printed circuit board to receive cables from at least one metro cell. A power supply module is connected to the printed circuit board to supply power thereto.

Grounding clips for electrical components are disclosed to eliminate or significantly reduce ESD and EMI. A grounding clip includes a first leg oppositely disposed with respect to a second leg and connected to the second leg by a third leg, mounting tabs for connecting the first and second legs to a PCB, a resilient upper flange formed in the third leg and angled with respect to the third leg inwardly toward the first mounting tab and the second mounting tab (e.g., for compression fit with respect to an SFP mounting cage), resilient flanges formed in the first and second legs and angled to extend inwardly toward one another. A hook member extends outwardly from an edge of the first leg to form an electromagnetic gasket with respect to a front panel and grounding clip.

Grounding clip for electrical components

A circuit box includes a housing having a front panel defining one surface of a circuit receiving chamber within the housing. A shelf is rigidly coupled to the housing and extends perpendicularly and outwardly from the housing. A lip extends substantially perpendicularly from an outer end of the shelf remote from the front panel and is substantially parallel to the front panel to define a cable receiving channel with the shelf and front panel. Cable tie wrap retainers can be located on the shelf and within the cable receiving channel.
