Dispensing system

A dispensing system comprising a container for containing a liquid to be dispensed, a sprayer comprising a spray head and a handle, and flexible tubing connectable at one of its ends to the container and connected at its other end to the sprayer for conveying liquid from the container to the sprayer. The container has a recess formed in one of its side walls sized and shaped for receiving the sprayer, and connectors for attaching the sprayer to the container with the sprayer received within the recess. The sprayer is detachable from the container for dispensing liquid from the container.

An adapter for converting multiple electrochemical cells into a desired battery configuration, in particular D size cells into a lantern battery configuration. The adapter is a one piece receptacle structure with a hinged section openable for removal and replacement of spent cells. The adapter further contains a one-piece conductive member, comprised of a substrate with conductive elements, for electrical interconnection of all of the cells with each other and with the external electrical terminals of the adapter. The one-piece conductive member permits the inserted cells to be aligned in a single direction.

Cell battery adapter

A pulley is described for hauling strands of rope or chain and for engaging a splice coupling a strand of rope to a strand of chain. A plurality of pockets are arranged about the periphery of the pulley for positively engaging every other chain link. A plurality of pairs of rope-engaging surfaces are located between adjacent pockets and within the pockets. Rope and chain occupy substantially the same diameter of the pulley resulting in substantially the same speed and torque characteristics whether rope or chain is being hauled.

A system for digital transmission includes an active pulse forming network to convert a digital data signal into a Manchester Coded PSK format. A low pass filter network is provided to transform the Manchester Coded signal for transmission over a bandlimited wireline channel. The receiver includes a low pass filter and a bandpass filter that combine to form an overall bandpass filter response for receiving the output of the wireline channel. The transmitter low pass filter and the receiver bandpass filter combine to transform the Manchester Coded PSK data signal into a quasi-raised cosine signal that has the digital data signal coded therein. A timing recovery circuit is included that extracts a timing signal from the quasi-raised cosine signal to provide a coherent timing signal such that the quasi-raised cosine signal can be sampled and the digital data signal reconstructed. The timing recovery circuit delays the quasi-raised cosine signal and multiplies it by the reconstructed digital data signal and the product signal thereof is half-wave rectified and input to a phase lock loop which locks onto the signal to provide a reconstructed timing signal to drive a sampling circuit.
