An embedded sensor can include an audio detector, a digital signal processor, a library, and a rules engine. The digital signal processor can be configured to receive signals from the audio detector and to identify the environment in which the embedded sensor is located. The library can store statistical models associated with specific environments, and the digital signal processor can be configured identify specific events based on detected sounds within the particular environment by utilizing the statistical model associated with the particular environment. The DSP can associate a probability of accuracy for the identified audible event. A rules engine can be configured to receive the probability and transmit a report of the detected audible event.

The mobile communication device comprises a software application stored in a memory of the electronic device, when executed by a processor of the electronic device in response to detecting the second proximate display screen, communicates with the second display screen and ad hoc collaborates with the second display screen. A method and system are provided for admitting new participants to an ongoing conference session. In one example, a conference server hosting a conference session may receive a request for a UE to join the ongoing conference session. In response to receiving such a request, the conference server may determine whether to admit the UE to the ongoing conference session as a full participant or as a partial participant. When the conference server determines to admit the UE as a full participant, the conference server establishes a conference leg with the UE and permits the UE to communicate with each and every current participant of the ongoing conference session. However, when the conference server determines to admit the UE as a partial participant, the conference server may establish a conference leg with the UE and may permit the UE to communicate with just some of the ongoing conference's current participants.

A detection system detects a malicious condition related to the IP communications and responsively generates a circuit transfer signal. Second micro-processing circuitry then drives the user interface and drives the wireless transceiver to exchange non-IP communications.

The enterprise server comprises a trusted security zone and an application stored in the trusted security zone, where the application receives the credentials via the sensor, authorizes access to the building based on the credentials, and authenticates the user to the domain on the enterprise network.
