A modular acetabular cup assembly includes an acetabular cup, and a liner seated in the cup. The cup includes an end face, an apex opposite the end face, and a central axis extending between the apex and a center point of the end face. The liner includes an articular surface having a center of rotation which defines a pivot point of the acetabular cup assembly. In certain embodiments, the pivot point is laterally offset from the center point such that the end face is located between the pivot point and the apex.

Lateralized dual-mobility assembly

Prostheses, acetabular apparatuses, and methods of use are disclosed. In some embodiments, an acetabular apparatus includes an acetabular cup and an acetabular cage disposed within an interior of the acetabular cup. The acetabular cage may include a central portion including a first section and a second section rotatably coupled together, and a first flange extending from the first section and a second flange extending from the second section. The acetabular prosthesis may further include a fastener extending through each of the acetabular cup and the central portion of the acetabular cage.

Acetabular apparatuses for hip revision surgery

Prostheses, acetabular apparatuses, and methods of use are disclosed. In some embodiments, an acetabular apparatus includes an acetabular cup, a pre-assembled liner and flange construct, and a dual mobility bearing (e.g., a dual articulating femoral head component and insert). In one embodiment, the pre-assembled liner and flange construct may be coupled together by a band coupled to the flanges, the band being arranged and configured to be pressed onto an outer surface of a liner. The pre-assembled liner and flange construct being arranged and configured to accept the dual mobility bearing so that it is freely rotatable relative thereto during use.

Acetabular apparatus with dual mobility for hip revision surgery

An acetabular cage or device () is disclosed. In one embodiment, the acetabular cage includes a cup portion () configured for implantation in an acetabulum and a flange () extending from the cup portion. The flange including a first, bone contacting surface () configured to face bony tissue surrounding the acetabulum when the cup portion is implanted into the acetabulum and a second, top surface () opposite the first surface. The flange includes a flexible portion () and a fixation portion (), the fixation portion including one or more fixation features () configured to facilitate fixation of the flange to the bony tissue surrounding the acetabulum. The flexible portion is arranged and configured to enable the flange, and hence the fixation portion, to move relative to the cup portion to facilitate placement of the flange relative to the bony tissue.
