A system and method for presenting assigned content to a user on a user's device after validating an association of the user with a recognized article based on a valid spatial relationship between the user and the recognized article and also after verifying rights to access the assigned content by the user. The user device equipped with at least one camera used to determine if the article is properly presented. The device captures images and the system has the ability to determine from the images and any additional spatial information the orientation and/or position parameters of the article to confirm whether the valid spatial relationship exists between the recognized article and the user device. The assigned content presented to the user can be contextual and can range from items such as images, music, videos, games, virtual content, augmented content, coupons (virtual or physical), promotions, special offers and the like.

Systems and methods are disclosed for providing context-aware selection and recommendation of applications and services on a mobile device. The selection of the preferred applications is based on the context of the user and the context of the applications. A comparison engine related to a recommendation module performs a similarity computation between context attribute vectors of the user and the applications. Based on the similarity computation, a rank-order is produced that determines in what order the application icons should be presented to the user. A digital wallet is also disclosed that maintains the reward points awarded to the user as crypto/virtual tokens based on the instant principles. Unlike prevailing techniques, the reward points are awarded in a context-aware manner after reconciling the conflicting or contradictory usage habits of the user.

A method for predicting energy consumption of a vehicle using a statistical model. The method includes (i) predicting a set of future input vectors for the vehicle at defined time intervals corresponding to a plurality of future points in time based on a subset of a plurality of reference input vectors previously generated at the defined time intervals at a plurality of previous points in time, (ii) predicting a change in the energy level of the vehicle using a processor and the statistical model, and (iii) providing results corresponding to the predicted change in the energy level to an output unit of the vehicle. Each reference input vector comprises a vehicle input vector and a database input vector associated with each point in time of the plurality of previous points in time. The database input vector for each defined time interval may be based on at least one of a plurality of environmental data and information about a road condition.

A system and method for identifying whether an article is properly presented and duly owned by or licensed to a user and releasing assigned content to the user upon confirmation of such verifiably owned or licensed article. Due ownership or license is verified by relying on tokens (e.g., Non-Fungible Tokens) and blockchain transaction records. A system for monitoring injuries comprising a plurality of wearable user input devices and a wireless transceiver. Each of the plurality of wearable user input devices may be configured to detect motion patterns of a user. Each of the plurality of wearable user input devices may be configured as performance equipment. The wireless transceiver may be configured to communicate the motion patterns to a user device. A storage device stores the sensor data samples for multiple points in time along a route segment traveled by the vehicle. An apparatus comprising a power source, one or more sensors, a transceiver, and a memory. The power source may be configured to store energy to power the apparatus. The one or more sensors may be configured to receive captured data from one of a plurality of sources. The transceiver may be configured to send and receive data to and from a wireless network. The processor may be configured to execute computer readable instructions. The memory may be configured to store a set of instructions executable by the processor. The instructions may be configured to (A) evaluate an expected power usage budget calculated using a predictive model of future energy consumption and (B) (i) store the captured data in the memory in a first mode and (ii) transmit the captured data to a remote storage device in a second mode. The first mode or the second mode is selected based on characteristics of the captured data received from the sensors.

The measuring device is engaged, providing the readout of the physiological condition of the subject, an image of the measuring device including the readout is captured by the imaging apparatus in a single image, the image recognition module identifies the device and the nature of the physiological condition, processes the readout image by optical character recognition, and transmits the nature of the device, the physiological condition, the subject's identification, and the processed value of the readout to the internet-connected server.
