An integral image element includes at least one display control parameter that is stored in a storage mechanism located in a data code field of the integral image element. The display control parameter is read by an information reading device of a dynamic display unit that controls the display of the integral image element based on the display control parameter. The display control parameter or parameters stored on the integral image element may include a frame rate parameter, a sound parameter, a scent parameter and an illumination parameter.

A method for forming an integral image from first and second sets of images, the integral image to be aligned for viewing through an integral lens sheet. A transition set of images is formed from at least one image of each set, each transition image having a first region being a portion of an image from the first set and a non-overlapping second region being a portion of an image of the second set; Then lines from the first, second and transition sets are interleaved to form the integral image so that the transition set can be viewed intermediate the first and second sets when the image is aligned and viewed through the integral lens sheet An apparatus which can perform the method, and a product produced by the method, is also provided.

Dual-view imaging product

The invention is directed to a method and apparatus for forming a hard copy motion image from a video motion sequence recorded on a video recording device. The video motion sequence is played and an operator selects a series of motion containing views which are stored in memory. An integral image is printed on a printing medium such that the selected motion containing views can be viewed in sequence by altering the angle between a viewer's eyes and a lenticular or barrier screen located on the printing medium.
