A polyurethane adhesive composition that includes a polyurethane prepolymer that includes the reaction product of a first polyol component that includes glycerol monoester and a polyisocyanate, and a second polyol. A polyurethane prepolymer that includes the reaction product of glycerol monoester, a hydroxy functional triglyceride, and a polyisocyanate.

Reactive polyurethane adhesive composition, polyurethane prepolymer, and flexible laminates including the same

A two-part, solvent-free laminating adhesive including a Part A that is a liquid mixture of a first polyol and a hydroxyl functional acrylic polymer having a molecular weight of no greater than 15,000 g/mole, and a Part B that is an isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer. The adhesive is especially suited for making flexible laminates for use in food packaging. When adhered two polymeric film materials and in cured form, the adhesive provides substantially no contribution to the oxygen barrier properties of the laminate.

The absorbent article includes an exterior surface, an acquisition layer, superabsorbent polymer, a first layer that has an exterior surface and an interior surface, and a pressure sensitive attachment adhesive composition, the superabsorbent polymer being disposed between the acquisition layer and the interior surface of the first layer, and the pressure sensitive attachment adhesive composition being disposed on the exterior surface of the absorbent article.

Absorbent article for absorbing moisture on a structure

A wetness indicating composition is disclosed that changes color in response to a change in pH. The composition comprises a water-insoluble, thermoplastic polymer composition, a superabsorbent polymer, a wetness indicator, and surfactant. The wetness indicating composition is useful in disposable absorbent articles, e.g., disposable diapers, feminine napkins, medical dressings and beddings for humans and animals.
