An auxiliary seat for young children, particularly for use with children having physical disabilities, is removably connected to the bowl of a toilet. The seat base is a rear-facing horseshoe shape, with upstanding arms and back support. The auxiliary seat provides postural support, by way of contoured sitting surfaces, a deep contoured anterior support. The anterior trunk support is pivotally connected across the front of the seat, to support the trunk and forearms of the user. A separate, adjustable height footrest is provided, the seat having restraint straps that may be individually applied about the knees of the user. A flexible urine deflector is removably insertable at the front of the seat.

Auxiliary toilet seat

An infant/child seat and frame combination is disclosed wherein the seat is mountable and de-mountable to and from the frame by a combination of seat back hooks and seat bottom positioning elements engageable with compatibly configured frame members on the frame. Various frame configurations may be constructed to accept the seat, e.g., a car seat frame, a stroller frame, a high chair frame, or a wheelchair frame, so that the same seat may be moved from one frame to another to serve varying purposes.

Detachable child seat and supporting frame

An exercise equipment for use by people in wheelchairs has a stationary frame within which a user can readily located their wheelchair, including attachment structure for securing the lower body of the user to the chair. A guide frame pivotally secured to the stationary frame is readily adjustable in its angle of inclination, which angle defines the plane of displacement in which weight-lifting exercise is performed by the user. A load bar is secured to the guide frame, for displacement therealong by the user, in carrying out their selected exercise. The load bar is connected by its ends in load transfer relation with two sets of selectively adjustable weights. Use of a load bar in sliding relation with a guide frame diminishes the risk of loss of control of the weights. The equipment may be readily used and adjusted in relation to the angle of lift and the required weight load, by a majority of users, despite significant incapacitation.
