A light fixture uses printed circuit boards and is adapted to be modularly connected to other similar light fixtures to allow for any configuration of a light fixture to be provided. The light fixture may include a plurality of printed circuit boards which are removably provided in the light fixture and which simplify the manufacturing, substantially reduce the cost and size of the lighting system. More specifically, the light fixture includes a housing having first and second ends, electrical endcaps located at the first and second ends of the housing and at least one printed circuit board disposed inside of the housing and electrically connected to at least one of the electrical endcaps, the printed circuit board including a socket containing a lamp contained therein.

A housing for a wireless emergency safety light which is mechanically connectable to a conventional light switch for a light fixture or a plug receptacle for providing power to a load. The housing replaces a conventional switch plate having at least one opening for receiving the switch actuator of the light switch or for receiving the electrical plug receptacle. The emergency safety light includes at least one compartment in the housing for receiving batteries; a second compartment in the housing for receiving an emergency light source adapted to be connected to the batteries; and an antenna for sensing the loss of electrical power to the light switch and, in response thereto, for actuating the emergency light source.

Wireless emergency safety light with sensing means for conventional

The present invention provides a housing for an emergency light source which is electrically connectable to a conventional light switch. The housing replaces a conventional switch plate and has at least one opening for receiving the switch actuator of the light switch. The replacement housing includes wires for electrical connection to the light switch and is divided into upper and lower housing sections, wherein the upper section includes a battery compartment, a printed circuit board compartment, and an opening to receive the switch actuator. The lower housing section includes a compartment for receiving a compact fluorescent lamp, reflectors, and a diffuser cover. The printed circuit board includes a recharger for the batteries; a power-sensing device for sensing power interruption; an ON/OFF relay switch which is turned on in response to a power failure and actuates the emergency light source; a LED charging indicator light to show that the batteries are charging; a manual test switch; and a transformer, a fluorescent ballast, and starter components for the fluorescent lamp.

A stain detector is provided for detecting stains in a fabric which includes a housing having a fabric opening for receiving the fabric to be inspected and a viewing opening for inspecting the fabric; an incandescent lamp and a fluorescent lamp for projecting light rays toward the fabric opening; a U-shaped reflector mounted within the housing to reflect the light rays toward the fabric opening; and switches for activating the lamps prior to inspecting the fabric through the viewing opening.
