A merchandising system includes a mounting member adapted to be secured to a first associated merchandising structure. A tile is connected to the mounting member. The tile extends away from the mounting member so as to approach a second associated merchandising structure spaced from the first associated merchandising structure. The tile includes a first portion located in a first plane and a protrusion located in a second plane spaced from the first plane. The protrusion is linked to the mounting member. The tile is configured to be movable in relation to the mounting member thereby allowing selective access to a desired portion of at least one of the first and second associated merchandising structures. The connection between the protrusion and the mounting member enables movement of the tile in relation to the mounting member via at least one of pivoting and sliding.

Merchandise security system

A merchandise security system includes a merchandise display having a first display member and a second display member vertically spaced from the first display member. At least one tile is mounted to the first display member. The at least one tile is movable between a first position blocking access to a desired column of associated merchandise stored on one of the first and second display members to a second position allowing access to the desired column of the associated merchandise. A lock member is operatively connected to the at least one tile for restricting movement of the at least one tile from its first position. The lock member is movable from the locked position where at the lock member interferes with movement from the at least one tile from its first position to an unlocked position which enables the at least one tile to be moved from its first position to its second position for allowing access to the desired column of associated merchandise.

A merchandise security system includes a rail adapted to be secured to a first associated merchandising structure, which can be a shelf or a wire rack display. The rail includes a first longitudinally extending channel. At least one tile is mounted to the rail. The at least one tile extends away from the rail so as to approach a second associated merchandising structure spaced from the first associated merchandising structure. The at least one tile includes a protrusion which is accommodated in the first rail channel to enable a sliding movement of the tile in relation to the rail. This construction allows selective access to any desired portion of at least one of the first and second associated merchandising structures.

A sign holder holding an end of each of two signs includes a first wall, a second wall spaced from the first wall, and a connecting wall located between the first and second walls and secured thereto. A first sign holding section is defined by first portions of the first and second walls and is located on a first side of the connecting wall. A second sign holding section is defined by second portions of the first and second walls and is located on a second side of the connecting wall. A channel is defined on the second wall for engaging an associated bracket used to mount the sign holder on a support.

A label holder, that can be selectively mounted to an associated merchandise display shelf/includes a front panel and a rear panel. A hinge connects the front panel to the rear panel, creating a pocket between the front panel and the rear panel for receiving an associated label. A retaining member projects rearwardly from the rear panel. A first lip extends rearwardly from the rear panel, in a manner spaced from the retaining member. The first lip engages an angled forward portion of the associated display shelf when the label holder is in an installed position.

A holder for planar material includes a first panel and a second panel hingedly connected to the first panel. A prong is secured to the first panel and extends in a direction approximately normal thereto. The prong has a pointed tip. An aperture is defined in the second panel. The pointed tip pierces an associated planar material located between the panels such that the prong of the first panel can pass through the associated planar material and enter the aperture of the second panel when the first panel overlies a portion of the second panel, thereby holding the associated planar material between the first and second panels. A clip is connected to at least one of the first and second panels. The clip allows the holder to be mounted to an associated support. In another embodiment, each of the first and second panels includes an extension and a hinge connects the first and second extensions thereby allowing the first panel, and the first extension, to be pivoted in relation to the second panel and the second extension. This enables the holder to be selectively mounted on a wire component of an associated support.

The invention relates to a sign hanger A, for facilitating the hanging of items such as a banner or the like from suspended ceiling grids in a store. The sign hanger is adapted to have a twist-lock releasable connection with a ceiling grid. A friction lock structureis added to decrease the likelihood of accidental deinstallation of the sign hanger A. In one embodiment the hanger has an elongated bodyhaving spaced apart flangesin order to hold a banner. In another embodiment the hanger has a centrally located plateau, which co-operates with tapered surfacesandon respective clipsandto hold the hanger in place on the ceiling grid.

A multi-component, interchangeable display system is connectable with a support surface such as an upright rail of a shelving system. The display system provides for the display of a variety of signs on interchangeable display members which may be slidably connected to a support bracket R. The support bracket includes a planar support body having spaced fingers which selectively engage openings in the support rail. The display member includes a hinge portion , formed from a resiliently flexible material, which allows the sign to be bumped without damage.

A multi-component, interchangeable display system is connectable with a support member such as an upright rail or a horizontal shelf. The display system provides for the display of a variety of signs and merchandise items on interchangeable display members which may be pivotally connected or non-pivotally connected to a support bracket. The support bracket includes a planar support member having a plurality of spaced fingers which selectively engage openings in the support member. An upwardly open housing is mounted on the support member. The housing includes a bore. The display member includes a stem which is selectively received in the bore of the housing.
