A system and method for gaze detection of an animate subject, typically a human. The subject's pupils are located in three dimensional space, using red-eye detection techniques and triangulation. Then, the gaze direction is determined based on the shape of the subject's irises.

Eye location and gaze detection system and method

A training system for training AWACS weapons directors. The training system is programmed so that the student can select between a number of different training modes. These include interactive courseware, simulation, and live exercise modes. The system includes a voice recognition unit that is trained to recognize AWACS terminology and to interactively teach them.

Interactive training system for AWACS weapons directors

A method of using a computer to provide display data representing a fire. The data is derived from fire model data, so that the fire is realistically displayed with the dynamics of a real fire. Particles are generated from the model data and given location values and other parameters. Each particle becomes a display data element by virtue of being assigned a graphics primitive. The data elements are culled according to a field of view and sorted, so that they may be used for real time display rendering.
