A heat sink assembly is provided for a pluggable module. The heat sink assembly includes a heat sink having a module side and an end surface that intersects the module side. The module side is configured to thermally communicate with the pluggable module. A holder extends from the end surface of the heat sink. A thermal interface material (TIM) layer extends on the module side of the heat sink. The TIM layer is configured to engage the pluggable module. The TIM layer includes an end that is engaged between the end surface and the holder of the heat sink.

Heat sink assembly for a pluggable module

A thermal management system for an IC device mounted on a circuit board is provided. The system includes a socket housing and an array of power contacts disposed within the housing. The power contacts deliver power to an underside of the IC device and generate heat at the underside of the IC device. A heat conducting interface conveys heat from the underside of the IC device to a heat sink positioned above the IC device.

Thermal managed interconnect system for a circuit board

A miniature card docking connector which includes an interface connector and a frame section which are mounted on a printed circuit board. The frame is formed to partially enclose the interface connector and a miniature card. The frame includes a resilient latch mechanism for securing the miniature card in place within the frame, and a plurality of pilot retainers with latches disposed thereon for initially locating the frame on the printed circuit board. The latch mechanism may be formed as part of the frame or as a seperate piece. Integral, threaded nut portions are also provided in the frame to facilitate more permanent connection of the frame to the printed circuit board by means such as bolts.
