Quantum process duplication is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a processor device receives a request to duplicate a first quantum process that is associated with a first one or more qubits. The processor device obtains metadata associated with the first quantum process and its qubits, wherein the metadata includes an identifier of the first quantum process and an identifier of each of the first one or more qubits. The processor device then duplicates the first quantum process as a second quantum process. Finally, the quantum process manager associates a second one or more qubits with the second quantum process (e.g., by associating the first one or more qubits with the second quantum process as the second one or more qubits, or by allocating a new set of one or more qubits for the second quantum process as the second one or more qubits, as non-limiting examples).

Quantum process duplication

Correcting quantum errors based on quantum error correction caches (QECCs) is disclosed herein. In one example, a processor device of a quantum computing device is to receive an indication of an occurrence of a quantum error that affects a qubit. The processor device identifies a QECC entry within a plurality of QECC entries of a first QECC of the quantum computing device, wherein the QECC entry corresponds to a previous occurrence of the quantum error. The processor device obtains metadata associated with the previous occurrence of the first quantum error from the QECC entry, and determines a corrective action based on the metadata. The processor device performs the corrective action to remedy the quantum error.

Correcting quantum errors based on quantum error correction caches (QECCs)

A communication packet is received from a service. It is determined, based on network configuration data associated with the service, to communicate at least a portion of the communication packet over a quantum network with a superdense protocol in lieu of a default communication protocol. The portion is encoded according to the superdense protocol using a first qubit entangled with a second qubit accessible by the recipient interface. The first qubit is transmitted over the quantum network to the recipient interface.

Superdense failover for specific services on a quantum channel

Access protection for shared qubits is disclosed herein. In one example, a processor device first determines that a first quantum process associated with one or more qubits is scheduled for execution (e.g., based on metadata obtained from the quantum process manager.) The processor device next identifies a second quantum process that is active and that is also associated with the one or more qubits. The processor device then prevents the first quantum process (i.e., the quantum process that is scheduled to execute) from accessing the one or more qubits. In some examples, the processor device may prevent access to the one or more qubits by causing the first quantum process to be placed in a blocked state pending release of the one or more qubits by the second quantum process (i.e., the currently active quantum process).

Access protection for shared qubits

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing a quantum computing-based diamond dependency analysis. A classical diamond dependency service may analyze a service and determine a set of dependencies that the service requires to execute. The classical DDS may then generate a quantum assembly language (QASM) file comprising a diamond dependency algorithm (DDA) and a mapping of a configuration file of the service and a configuration file of each of the set of dependencies to a respective qubit among a plurality of qubits. The classical DDS may interface with one or more quantum DDSs (QDDSs) that are each part of a respective quantum environment in order to determine qubits that are available to be mapped to the configuration files of the service and its dependencies. The classical DDS may execute the QASM file using the one or more QDDSs to detect one or more diamond dependencies.

A quantum computing system receives, from a requestor, a first access request that identifies a subject, an action, and a resource. A mapping structure that identifies a plurality of qubits that are in superposition and encoded with a plurality of rules that govern access to the resource is accessed. Based on the mapping structure it is determined that a set of qubits of the plurality of qubits applies to the access request. Data encoded in the set of qubits or a reference to each qubit in the set of qubits is provided to the requestor.

Qubit-implemented role-based access control

A quantum isolation zone (QIZ) controller executing on a quantum computing system, makes a determination to initiate, for a first QIZ of a plurality of different QIZs, a first local service instance of a global service instance that is executing on the quantum computing system, the first QIZ having a first set of qubits associated therewith. The first local service instance is caused to be initiated, and the QIZ controller modifies a local service data structure to indicate that the first local service instance is associated with the first QIZ.

Systems and methods are provided. An example method can include receiving, from a first process, a first request for first data to be written to a first memory location by a second process. The example method can include providing a second request for the first process to write data to a second memory location, wherein the second process has write access to the second memory location and not the first memory location. The example method can include receiving a first notification indicating that the second process has written the first data to the second memory location. The example method can include transferring the first data from the second memory location to the first memory location. The example method can include providing a second notification to the first process indicating that the first data has been written to the first memory location.

Isolation of processes using shared memory for communication

Performing qubit manipulation using push notifications is disclosed herein. In one example, a quantum computing device comprises a system memory and a processor device communicatively coupled to the system memory. The processor device is to receive a push notification that includes an identifier of a qubit and a push notification payload, such as a data value to be written to the qubit and/or one or more qubit manipulation commands to be performed using the qubit. Upon receiving the push notification, the processor device obtains write access to the qubit, and then applies the push notification payload to the qubit, for example by writing the data value to the qubit and/or by executing the one or more qubit manipulation commands using the qubit.

An access request to allow a requestor process to access a protected resource is received. A qubit authentication state that identifies a desired state of a qubit is sent to the requestor process. It is determined that the requestor process has caused the qubit to have the qubit authentication state. Based at least in part on determining that the requestor process has caused the qubit to have the qubit authentication state, the requestor process is granted access to the protected resource.

It is determined that a container image comprising a plurality of container image layers generated by a container build engine is to be transmitted from a container image repository to a target computing device. It is determined that a first container image layer of the plurality of container image layers is a sensitive container image layer to be encrypted prior to transmission to the target computing device. A first key generated by a quantum computing system that uses a quantum key distribution protocol, a plurality of qubits and a quantum communication channel to generate the first key is obtained. The first container image layer is encrypted using the first key to generate a first encrypted container image layer. The first encrypted container image layer is transmitted to the target computing device.

Biases on quantum bits can be dynamically adjusted based on events. For example, a system can detect an event related to a service executing in a computing environment. The service can rely on a state of a quantum bit of a quantum computing subsystem in performing a computing operation. The system can determine an amount of bias to apply to the quantum bit based on the event. The amount of bias can be configured to modify a result of the computing operation. The system can transmit a control signal configured to cause the quantum computing subsystem to apply the amount of bias to the quantum bit (e.g., while the service is executing).

Dynamically adjusting biases on quantum bits based on detected events

A package delta that identifies differences between a first software package and a second software package is accessed. It is determined that the package delta is to be securely communicated to a second quantum computing system upon the occurrence of a first condition. It is determined that the first condition has occurred. In response to determining that the first condition has occurred, the package delta is transferred to the second quantum computing system using superdense coding.

A quantum process is caused to be initiated on a quantum computing system from a quantum instruction file. A corresponding plurality of temperature values of the quantum computing system associated with an execution of the quantum process is determined at a plurality of different times. Based on the plurality of temperature values of the quantum computing system, a temperature profile that corresponds to the quantum instruction file is generated. The temperature profile is stored.

A quantum computing device determines a plurality of quantum services executing on one or more quantum computing systems. The quantum computing device accesses a dependency map identifying dependency relationships between the plurality of quantum services. The quantum computing device determines computing resource sensitivities for at least some quantum services of the plurality of quantum services. The quantum computing device determines based on the computing resource sensitivities for a quantum service from among the plurality of quantum services that the quantum service exceeds a computing resource sensitivity threshold for the quantum service. The quantum computing device, in response to determining that the quantum service exceeds the computing resource sensitivity threshold, initiates an action based on priority rules.
