Methods and systems relate to determining sensory motor performance based on user non-postural movements within a generated dynamic virtual environment. The generated environment requires users to: (i) utilize primary sensor inputs (e.g., vision, vestibular sensation and somatosensation); (ii) assess the dynamic virtual environment; and (iii) integrate and translate those inputs into movement to control the dynamic virtual environment. The methods may include receiving non-postural user input with respect to a state of one or more attributes of a dynamic virtual environment provided on a user interface for one or more sessions, the one or more attributes including a control object and a target which moves with respect to the control object; determining performance information based on the user input and the state of the one or more attributes for the one or more sessions; and determining sensory motor performance information from the performance information.

A breathable, elastic, film laminate including layers of an inherently breathable, elastic polymer film alternately stacked with layers of a filled plastic polymer. The laminate may be made by grafting a thermoplastic polymer to an elastomer to form an inherently breathable elastic polymer, extruding, the elastic polymer through a die, extruding the filled plastic polymer through a die, stacking the extruded elastic polymer with the extruded plastic polymer while the polymers are in a melt-extrudable state to create a multilayer film laminate, and stretching the laminate.

A process for temporarily stabilizing an extensible material while incorporating the material into a garment, or while performing any other converting process on the material. The stabilizing process includes the step of selectively bonding regions of the extensible material to provide a bonded material having restricted extensibility. The bonded material can be put through a converting process, such as winding the bonded material onto a roll, spooling the bonded material, slitting the bonded material, laminating the bonded material, or incorporating the bonded material into a garment. After the bonding material has gone through the converting process, the bonded regions can be removed from the bonded material.

Process for temporarily stabilizing an extensible web

A composite elastic material is provided having improved hysteresis comprising a layer of an elastic material bonded to a layer of nonelastic material at least one side. The elastic material layer is made from a blend of a narrow polydispersity number polymer and a conventional elastomer, and the blend is essentially free of low molecular weight polyethylene processing aids. The composite elastic material laminate should have a hysteresis at least 15 percent better than a similar laminate made without the narrow polydispersity number elastomer but with the processing aid.

The present invention is directed to elastic fibrous nonwoven web laminates which exhibit elastic properties in at least one direction and, if desired, two or more directions due to the use of at least one fibrous nonwoven web facing layer which contains a plurality of slits. The resultant laminates are useful in a wide variety of applications not the least of which include garments, surgical drapes and other supplies as well as personal care absorbent articles including diapers, training pants, sanitary napkins, incontinence garments, bandages and the like. Processes for forming such laminates are also disclosed.
