The present invention concerns a reactor for the conversion of carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide into hydrocarbon and/or alcohol comprising a support made from an electrically and thermally conductive material, forming the wall or walls of at least one longitudinal channel that passes through the support and also acting as the cathode of the reactor, at least one wire electrode forming an anode of the reactor, and extending within each longitudinal channel, and being arranged at a distance from the wall or walls of the longitudinal channel, each wire electrode optionally being covered with an electrically insulating layer along the part of the wire electrode extending within the longitudinal channel, a catalyst capable of catalysing a conversion reaction for the conversion of carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide into hydrocarbon and/or alcohol, the catalyst being situated between the wire electrode and the wall or walls of each longitudinal channel.

The present invention relates to a plasma reactor and more specifically to an plasma microreactor comprising a support, made at least partially of a dielectric material, the support comprising a gas inlet, a liquid inlet, at least a fluid outlet, a liquid microchannel in the support, a gas channel, at least a ground electrode, at least a high voltage electrode, separated from the gas channel by the dielectric material of the support, wherein said ground electrode and said high voltage electrode are arranged on opposite sides of the gas channel so as to be able to create an electric field inside the gas channel, wherein the liquid microchannel and the gas channel are contiguous and at least an opening is arranged between the liquid microchannel and the gas channel so as to form a fluid channel and to cause the liquid flow contact the gas flow and wherein the liquid flow is retained within the liquid microchannel by capillarity action.

Biphasic plasma microreactor and method of using the same

The present invention relates to a microfluidic or millifluidic device () comprising: &#x2014;a support () made at least partially of a dielectric material, the support () comprising a first inlet () adapted to be connected to a first reservoir containing gas, a second inlet () adapted to be connected to a second reservoir containing liquid, an outlet () adapted to be connected to a receiver container containing gas and/or liquid, and a main microchannel or millichannel () present in the dielectric material allowing the liquid and the gas to flow from the inlets towards the outlet, &#x2014;one or several ground electrode(s) () embedded in said dielectric material and extending along the main microchannel or millichannel (), and &#x2014;one or several high-voltage electrode(s) () embedded in said dielectric material and extending along the main microchannel or millichannel (), wherein the high-voltage electrode(s) () and the ground electrode(s) () are located on opposite sides of the main microchannel or millichannel () so as to be able to generate an electric field inside the main microchannel or millichannel (). The present invention relates also to a method for generating a plasma in a continuous manner using such a microfluidic or millifluidic device ().
