Example split valves for regulating a first flowrate and a second flowrate of a fluid within a closed loop systems are disclosed herein. An example split valve includes an electrohydraulic servo valve coupled to a first piston via a first hydraulic flowline and a second hydraulic flowline, the first piston to include a piston shaft, a first head, and a second head; one or more bellows fixed to at least one of the first head or the second head, the one or more bellows to hermetically seal the fluid from a hydraulic fluid; and a control system connected to the electrohydraulic servo valve, the control system to adjust the first flowrate and the second flowrate of the fluid through a first fluid chamber, the first piston to be located in the first fluid chamber.

Split valves for regulating fluid flow in closed loop systems

An airfoil assembly for a turbine engine includes an airfoil with an outer wall having a pressure side and a suction side, the airfoil extending axially between a leading edge and a trailing edge to define a chord-wise direction and also extending radially between a root and a tip to define a span-wise direction. An aperture and at least one slot can define at least a portion of a release plane extending through the outer wall.

Composite fan blade platform includes forward and aft portions and transition portion therebetween. Platform mounting holes extend through increased section thickness in transition portion and conical countersinks centered about centerlines of mounting holes extend into transition portion. Bolts include bolt shanks extending away from boltheads through center bolt holes in conical load spreaders in conical countersink. Boltheads engage conical load spreader. Bolthead is disposed entirely within cylindrical counterbore into top of load spreader and engages shoulder at bottom of cylindrical counterbore. Radial gap between bolthead and cylindrical counterbore surface of cylindrical counterbore may be filled by filler or filler ring. Bolts may join platform supports to disk hooks attached, fixed or joined to, or integral with disk posts of disk. Nuts threaded on threaded inner end of bolt shank may secure bases attached to platform supports to fan blade platform.
