A cooling assembly for the stator of an electric machine provided with coils including heads is described herein. The cooling assembly includes a generally cylindrical cooling body provided with opposite longitudinal ends and at least one head-cooling element mounted to one of the longitudinal end of the body; the head-cooling element being so configured as to enclose heads of the coils and to receive heat conducting material therein.

Cooling assembly for electric machines

The insertion of electrically insulating paper from a continuous roll into slots of a stator created by outwardly projecting teeth is described herein. The insertion of the insulating paper is done by the insertion of prewound coils in the stator slots. The electrically insulating paper is not cut prior to its insertion in the slots, thereby completely covering the outer surface of the stator. The insertion systems and methods described herein are also optionally concerned with the insertion of interphase insulation paper between the different coils inserted in the stator slots and with the insertion of slot closing wedges.

Insertion system and method to insert insulators and coils in the slots of the stator of an electric machine

A stator assembly is provided with detachable teeth that are made of magnetic powder material. The teeth are so configured and sized as to be interconnected to a core body of the stator with pre-formed coils that are positioned between adjacent teeth.

An illustrative embodiment of the present invention is concerned with a permanent magnet rotor for an electric machine provided with an internal stator and a coaxial external rotor. To overcome the drawbacks associated with the use of an adhesive to mount the permanent magnets to the rotor body, permanent magnet spacing and retaining elements are mounted to the inner surface of the rotor, between adjacent magnets.

Described are electrical connectors for hi-power applications where multiple electrical wires are to be maintained apart and electrically insulated from one another. The connectors are to be used to mount the plurality of wires to a receptacle of a casing so as to establish a connection with electric circuit(s) provided inside the casing. Portions of the connector interact with the casing to provide a seal therebetween to prevent the water and dirt infiltration inside the casing.

A dynamoelectric machine stator core for receiving a pre-formed stator winding includes a core body defining a cylindrical core main peripheral surface. A plurality of axially extending stator slots are circumferentially spaced in the core body. Each of the stator slots defines a slot first section extending radially from the slot base to a slot intermediate radial position and a slot second section extending radially from the slot intermediate radial position towards the core main peripheral surface. The slot first and second sections communicate with each other and are circumferentially offset relative to each other. The slot first and second sections are positioned, configured and sized to facilitate insertion therein of a corresponding conductor section of the stator winding with reduced needs for deforming the latter.

Dynamoelectric machine stator and method for mounting prewound coils thereunto

A cooling device for an internal stator of an electric machine. The stator includes a substantially cylindrical cavity having a substantially cylindrical internal surface. The cooling device includes a body defining an external substantially cylindrical contact surface. The cooling device further includes a biasing element connected to the body. The biasing element is so configured and sized as to bias the contact surface of the body against the internal surface of the rotor when the cooling device is positioned inside the cavity.
