The invention provides a turbine machine rotor having blades of composite material, the rotor comprising an assembly disk, a plurality of composite material blades mounted on the assembly disk via their roots and each provided at its free end with a platform, and a metal shroud positioned on the blade platforms concentrically around the assembly disk and including labyrinth teeth that project radially outwards in order to abrade an abradable material carried by a casing surrounding the rotor, the casing being held stationary both axially and circumferentially relative to the blade platforms and being suitable for moving radially outwards in operation relative to the blade platforms.

A method of fabricating a complex part out of composite material including three-dimensional woven fiber reinforcement densified by a matrix, the method including three-dimensionally weaving a continuous fiber strip including a succession of fiber blanks for preforms of a plurality of parts that are to be fabricated; subsequently cutting individual fiber blanks out from the strip, each blank being a one-piece blank; shaping a cut-out blank to obtain a one-piece fiber preform having a shape that is close to the shape of a part that is to be fabricated; consolidating the preform in the desired shape; and densifying the consolidated preform by forming a matrix by chemical vapor infiltration.

Method for manufacturing a complexly shaped composite material part

A turbomachine rotor wheel having composite material blades is disclosed. The wheel includes a slideway disk having a circumferential groove at its outer periphery, the groove having an opening that is narrower than its bottom, with a plurality of composite material blades each having a blade root engaged in the groove of the slideway disk and presenting a longitudinal section adapted to the longitudinal section of the slideway disk in order to be held radially therein by co-operating shapes, and an orientation disk fastened coaxially around the slideway disk and including, in its outer periphery, a plurality of axial slots each of which is open at one end. Each slot presents a cross-section that is adapted to the cross-section of a corresponding blade root so as to hold it angularly by co-operating shapes.

A first insert () forming a ring is placed inside and in contact with a core () in degradable material. On the outer face of the core a plurality of inserts () is arranged each comprising a platform () applied against the outer face of the core and at least one blade () extending substantially radially outwards. A fibrous structure () is wound around the core passing over the platforms () and over the inner surface of the ring-shaped insert (). Molding of the fibrous structure, impregnated with a composition containing a resin, is performed before polymerization of the resin and removal of the core.
