A method of repairing a turbomachine blisk having at least one damaged zone by build-up of metal in the damaged zone using a laser build-up welding machine is disclosed. The method includes preparing the damaged zone by machining the damaged zone to obtain a zone of defined profile to be repaired, build-up welding of a start-of-run test piece that includes the defined profile using the laser build-up welding machine, checking geometric and metallurgical quality of the test piece, and build-up welding the zone to be repaired of the blisk using the laser build-up welding machine.

To repair the blade, a patch is welded by an electron beam. The method starts by machining the damaged zone so as to obtain a zone to be repaired having a defined profile; welded on to a first test piece element corresponding to the blade, having said defined profile, is a second test piece element, corresponding to the patch, in order to obtain a start-of-run test piece; the quality of this test piece is verified and, if it corresponds to the repair acceptance criteria, the patch is welded on to the zone to be repaired using the same electron-beam welding machine without changing its operating parameters, and the repaired zone is reworked by machining.

A shot blasting device is provided for shot-blasting surfaces, particularly of a turbo aero engine, which are inaccessable by a straight pipe. The device includes a shot-blasting pipe which is suitably shaped for entering cavities to be shot blasted. The shot-blasting pipe extends from a rotor where the shot is directly deposited. A column affixes pressures pipes to the rotor and shot-blasting pipe to apply compressed air to the shot and eject the shot out of the rotor and through the shot-blasting pipe.
