Hinged closures for containers are provided. The hinged closures allow for a closure that can be held in the open position with a large opening angle. The hinged closures include a lid portion and a skirt portion interconnected by a hinge portion. The hinge portion can be formed from two connecting columns and a central tongue, or two tongues and a central connecting column.

The invention includes a plastic stopper comprising a closure shell and a tamper band. The tamper band is separably connected to the closure shell through at least a weakness line and includes a hoop positioned at a bottom edge of the tamper band. The hoop is configured to invert into and secured under a ring of the bottle neck, and the hoop comprising a least one protrusion. The hoop is configured to inverted into the stopper and extend in front of an inner wall of the tamper band. The inner wall comprises a recess extending into a thickness of the inner wall, and the is recess configured to receive the at least one protrusion of the hoop.

The invention includes a snap type plastic stopper having a closure shell with a roof wall and a tamper band to be secured on a bottle neck. The stopper includes a first weakness line with first bridges, where the first bridges separably link the bottom edge of the closure shell and the top edge of the tamper band; at least one hinge which extends through the first weakness line, where the hinge pivotably links the closure shell and the tamper band; and a tongue which is diametrically situated at the opposite of the hinge, where the tongue outwardly extends relative to a peripheral wall of the closure shell. The stopper also includes within the closure shell and/or tamper band at least one tamper evident feature such as a toggle.

The present invention relates to tethered plastic stopper having a tamper band having an offset wall, a closure shell having a peripheral wall, and a hinge connected to the closure shell and a bottom edge attached to the tamper band. The closure shell is also separably connected to the tamper band through a weakness line. The peripheral wall extends around a portion perimeter of the stopper forming a first end at one edge of the peripheral wall and a second end edge at the other edge of the peripheral wall. The offset wall extends between the first and second ends of the peripheral wall at the opposite of the hinge.

Bottle closure

The present invention relates to a tethered screw plastic stopper, comprising a tamper shell positioned around the stopper. The tamper shell includes a retaining feature operable to cooperate with a top ring extending outwardly around a bottle neck. The stopper also includes a roof connected to the tamper shell through a hinge and separably connected to the tamper shell through a weakness line, wherein the tamper shell may be moved downwardly in rotation into an opened position.

The present invention relates to tethered plastic stopper having a closure shell, a tamper band, and an annular ring. The annular ring is formed between a bottom weakness line separably linked through bottom bridges to the top edge of the tamper band and to the bottom edge of the annular ring and a top weakness line separably linked through top bridges to the top edge of the annular ring and to the bottom edge of the closure shell. At least one of the bottom bridges is configured to prevent disconnection of the annular ring from the tamper band and at least one of the top bridges is configured to prevent disconnection of the annular ring from the closure shell. The remaining bottom bridge and the remaining top bridge having a section exceeding at least 30% relative to the section of the bottom bridges and top bridges, respectively.

A cap for closing a neck of a bottle is disclosed. The cap includes a lid for closing off the neck and a skirt for fixing to the neck. The skirt is provided with a bulge line for interfering by wedging with the neck, a weakened line to be ruptured by propagation of a tear, and a stop means for preventing the tearing propagating in the rectilinear extension of a first part of the weakened line that runs along the bulge line while being situated on the side of the latter opposite to the lid. The weakened line also includes second and third substantially rectilinear parts which, on the periphery of a skirt, follow on respectively from the first part to the second part of the weakened line. The second part of the weakened line avoids the stop means and extends on either side of the bulge line, while being inclined both with respect to the bulge line and with respect to the direction of the axis of the skirt. The third part of the weakened line extends along the bulge line while being situated on the side of the bulge line turned towards the lid.

A stopper is disclosed. The stopper includes a tubular skirt, designed to surround a container neck and including, on either side of a weakening line, a removable skirt portion, inwardly provided with means for removable fastening to the neck, and a non-removable skirt portion, inwardly provided with a retaining strip permanently around the container neck. The strip comprises an annular main body whereof a first end is turned opposite the removable skirt portion and integral with the non-removable skirt portion, while a second end is provided to axially abut against a bulge of the container neck and to be radially inserted between the bulge and the skirt.

A packaging assembly includes a bottle, which may be used upside-down such that a neck is turned towards the ground, and a closure without any added seal gasket for closing the neck. This closure includes a cap for obturating the neck, and a skirt for attachment to the neck. The cap includes an inner sealing lip, delimiting on its outer face, a convex tight bearing surface for bearing tightly against the inner face of the neck, and a substantially flat ramp surface, which connects the tight bearing surface to a lower axial end of the lip, and which, while the lip is deformed with the remainder of the closure when an inner clip of the skirt interferes with an outer bead of the neck during placement of the closure on the neck, may interfere with a free end of the neck to guide engagement of the lip inside the neck.

Packaging assembly, including a bottle and a gasket-less closure for closing the neck of the bottle

A plug for closing a neck of a carboy is disclosed. The plug comprises a cap for obturating the neck and a skirt for attachment to the neck. The skirt includes a first skirt portion, provided with a bulging line for interfering by jamming with the neck, and a second skirt portion, adapted for substantially encircling snugly an outer face of the neck. In order to avoid the presence of liquid between an outside of the neck and an inside of the skirt after placement of the plug, an inner face of the second skirt portion is provided with draining means adapted for delimiting fluid flow passages between the second skirt portion and the neck, which connect with each other opposite axial ends of the second skirt portion.
