An electrical connector and a method for fastening the connector to a circuit board has a connecting chamber in which a conductor rail is arranged. The conductor rail is electrically connected at a connecting side of the electrical connector to an electrical connecting part make electrical contact at a contact side with a circuit board. The conductor rail includes a connecting arm for connection with the electrical connecting part and a contact arm for connection with the circuit board. The connecting arm and the contact arm are joined together by a connection arm. The connecting part is displaced in a connecting direction extending parallel to the conductor rail for connection with the conductor rail. The contact arm is designed as a spring in order to press against the circuit board when they are connected. The conductor rail can be positioned in two mutually rotated positions and the electrical connector may have at least two adjacent connecting chambers.

Electrical connector for connecting electrical conductors to a printed circuit board

An electrical connector includes a housing which can be electrically connected on a connection side to an electrical connection part. On a contact side, one or more contacts are provided to electrically contact one or more counter-contacts of a printed circuit board. At least one latching peg assembly including two functional elements passes through an opening of the printed circuit board and can be moved by an actuation element from a non-expanded released position into an expanded latched position in which its diameter on the side of the opening which faces away from the housing is greater than the diameter of the opening of the printed circuit board. One of the functional elements is arranged on the actuation device and another element is arranged on a component of the connector which is movable relative to the actuation device.

An electrical connector for connecting an electrical conductor to a circuit board includes a housing electrically connected on a connecting side of the electrical connector to an electrical connecting part and including a contact side having one or more contacts, in order to make electrical contact with one or more mating contacts of the circuit board. A locking pin assembly passes through an opening of the circuit board and moves from a release position to a locking position in which its diameter on the side of the opening facing away from the housing is larger than the diameter of the opening of the circuit board. The housing includes at least one activating device and the locking pin assembly includes at least two functional elements which move relative to each other.
