A vertical takeoff and landing aircraft () for transporting persons or loads, including a plurality of preferably equivalent and redundant electric motors () and propellers (), substantially arranged in one surface, wherein each propeller is assigned an individual electric motor to drive the propeller, the aircraft being characterized in that at least one attitude sensor is provided for attitude control of the aircraft () in an active signal connection to at least one signal processing unit which is designed or set up to automatically perform the attitude control based on measurement data from the attitude sensor by regulating the speed of at least some of the electric motors (), preferably with signal actions of the speed controller assigned to each electric motor such that the aircraft () is positioned in space with the surface defined by the propeller () substantially horizontal at all times, without control input by a pilot or a remote control.

A method and a system are provided for controlling an aircraft in the form of a multicopter which has a plurality of redundant rotors (), preferably arranged in a common rotor plane, in order, on the one hand, to generate lift, and, on the other hand, also propulsion by inclining the at least one rotor plane, wherein the regulation of the position and the control of the multicopter are carried out by changing rotor rotational speeds as a function of pilot control instructions. The system is characterized in that the rotors () are connected to one another in terms of data technology via a failsafe network (), and they communicate their respective operating state, in particular their rotor rotational speed, in the network (), and in that the network contains a first multiplicity of redundant sensors which determine control-relevant data and make it available in the network, in particular inclination, acceleration, rotational speed and/or position in all three spatial axes of the multicopter.

The present invention describes a wireless network, in particular for automation, realtime and/or industrial applications, having at least two access network nodes and at least one radio station for wireless communication with at least one of the at least two access network nodes, wherein each of the at least two access network nodes uses a data channel selected from a set of available selectable data channels for wireless communication with a radio station assigned to it in each case, wherein a control communication channel which is distinct from the selectable data channels is provided in addition, and each of the at least two access network nodes is embodied for wirelessly sending information messages over the control communication channel and the at least one radio station is embodied for receiving the control communication channel.
