Optimizing a spectacle lens for a wearer of implanted intraocular lenses. The method includes providing individual refraction data on the at least one eye of the spectacle wearer; defining an individual eye model in which at least a shape and/or power of a cornea, in particular a corneal front surface, of a model eye, a cornea-lens distance, parameters of the lens of the model eye, and a lens-retina distance are defined as parameters of the individual eye model. Here, defining the parameters of the individual eye model takes place on the basis of data on visual acuity correction of the at least one eye having the intraocular lens and further on the basis of individual measurement values for the eye of the spectacle wearer and/or standard values and/or on the basis of the provided individual refraction data such that the model eye has the provided individual refraction data.

Method and apparatus optimizing spectacle lenses for wearers of implanted intraocular lenses

A method, a device, and a corresponding computer program product for calculating (optimizing) and producing a spectacle lens with the aid of a semi-personalized eye model. In one approach, the method includes providing personalized refraction data of at least one eye of the spectacles wearer; establishing a personalized eye model in which at least the parameters: shape of an anterior corneal surface of a model eye; a cornea-lens distance; parameters of the lens of the model eye; and lens-retina distance are established using personalized measured values for the eye of the spectacles wearer, and/or using standard values, and/or using the provided personalized refraction data, such that the model eye has the provided personalized refraction data, wherein at least the establishment of the lens-retina distance takes place via calculation.

A method and an apparatus for determining surface data and/or measurement data relating to a surface, for the quality control of an at least a partially transparent object, an ophthalmic lens, having an optically active first surface and an opposite optically active second surface. The method includes irradiating polarized light with an irradiation polarization from at least one illumination device onto an analysis area of the object to be examined, wherein, for the purpose of setting the irradiation polarization, the light is passed through a polarizer assigned to the illumination device or integrated in the latter, and receiving light which is reflected at the first and/or second surface and has an analysis polarization by use of at least one receiving device, wherein the light is passed through an analyzer assigned to the receiving device or integrated in the latter.

A method for producing a series of base lenses, which cover a predetermined power range, wherein each base lens of the series has a base power different from the base powers of the other base lenses of the series, and has at least one diffractive base grating, the method comprising: specifying the base powers of each base lens of the series and calculating the base grating of each base lens of the series so as to minimize the color fringe of the respective base lens with the specified base power in a predetermined region of the spectacle lens.
