A security element with a substrate and at least one micro-image arrangement, as well as at least one focusing layer interacting with the micro-image arrangement having an arrangement of focusing elements, wherein the at least one micro-image arrangement comprises at least one relief structure, wherein the micro-image arrangement generates a visible optical effect when viewed through the focusing layer, wherein the at least one micro-image arrangement comprises at least one color-shifting layer arranged on the at least one relief structure with a color-shifting effect discernible through the focusing layer.

Securing element with a substrate and at least one micro-image assembly

A security element for securities or security papers has at least one first region having first structures, which first structures reflect a first piece of information into different spatial regions, so that a movement image is created for a viewer with corresponding movement of a light source and/or a change in the viewing angle. When the light source and/or when the viewing angle is changed, a movement of the first piece of information is simultaneously created. The security element is thereby formed with at least one second region having second structures, which second structures reproduce a static and/or viewing angle-independent second piece of information. In addition, a process manufactures a security element.

Security element having reflective and static features

A security element with increased protection against forgery includes at least one first region with structures that reflect an image motif in different spatial regions, such that a moving image is produced for an observer when a light source is moved correspondingly and/or when the viewing angle is changed. When the light source is moved and/or the viewing angle is changed, a movement of the image motif occurs at the same time. Furthermore, an optical effect layer is provided which defines a second region. The structures are covered by the optical effect layer over their entire surface or partially.

Security element with an optical effect layer

A method for producing a security element with a metallized optical diffraction structure in an embossed coating layer in which a coating layer is applied onto a support, then embossed and cured; structural depressions, structural elevations, and an optical diffraction structure are produced by embossing the coating layer, then a reflective layer is provided on the structural depressions and structural elevations of the embossed coating layer by means of metallization, and after that, this reflective layer is selectively demetallized. The optical diffraction structure is embossed into at least one structural elevation and the selective demetallization includes a bonding of at least the metallized structural elevation that has the optical diffraction structure to a transfer support and then a separation of this structural elevation bonded to a transfer support both from the support and from at least one metallized structural depression adjoining this structural elevation through removal of the transfer support from the support.
