The disclosure relates to a method for evaluating a driving behavior, wherein detected driving data of at least one human driver, or detected driving data of at least one automated driving vehicle are obtained, wherein a key performance indicator is determined based on the obtained driving data, wherein both a travel time as well as an energy efficiency and/or emissions efficiency are taken into account in determining the key performance indicator, wherein the determined key performance indicator is provided as an evaluation result.

Method and system for evaluating a driving behavior

A method for increasing the traffic flow density at a traffic light intersection is disclosed in which vehicles driving straight ahead and vehicles turning left may pass the traffic light intersection simultaneously, wherein the vehicles driving straight ahead are partly equipped vehicles having a Car2X communication, an automatic longitudinal control and a control unit. To increase the traffic flow density, the number of waiting vehicles turning left is transmitted to the equipped vehicles driving straight ahead. Time gaps between the vehicles driving straight ahead is set in dependence upon the number of vehicles turning left by the control unit and the automatic longitudinal control, such that a first share of the time gaps are safety time gaps, which respectively correspond to the required safety distance, and the second share of the time gaps are critical time gaps, which permit at least one vehicle turning left to turn collision-free.

Method for increasing the traffic flow density at a traffic light intersection

A device for a driving assistance system for a transportation vehicle including a control unit to detect information concerning a position of a controllable road sign. The control unit detects information concerning the position of the transportation vehicle and determines information concerning at least one expected passing time, at which the transportation vehicle passes the controllable road sign, based on the information concerning the position of the transportation vehicle and the information concerning the position of the controllable road sign. The device also includes a receiving and transmitting unit to provide the information concerning the expected passing time at which the transportation vehicle passes the controllable road sign, to a control entity for the controllable road sign. The receiving and transmitting device receives information from the control entity concerning a period of time in which the controllable road sign is passable.
