A seal arrangement for sealing a gap between two housing parts, the gap being situated between opposite end faces of the housing parts. In the first housing part, there is a first receiving groove on the first end face, in which first receiving groove a sealing strip is arranged which protrudes out of the receiving groove and lies against a first outer flank. The sealing strip engages in an opposite second receiving groove of the second housing part and lies against a second outer flank. For position securing purposes and to achieve a sealing effect, even if there is no differential pressure, a spiral strip is provided, which spiral strip is situated in the first receiving groove and exerts an elastic force on the sealing strip.

Seal arrangement for a split housing

A gas turbine having a turbine casing, an outer and inner casing part between which a hot gas flows. An annular duct is formed between the outer casing part and the turbine casing to accommodate a cooling fluid. An exhaust gas casing is positioned downstream in the flow direction of the hot gas. A bearing system for a rotor has bearing struts arranged around the circumference which extend from a shaft bearing to an outer casing and, in the hot gas path of an exhaust gas diffuser arranged in the exhaust gas casing are shielded by another strut set which surrounds the bearing struts and is hollow to support the diffuser, wherein, to center the turbine and the exhaust gas casing, these are connected to one another via a fit wherein the turbine and the exhaust gas casing can be supplied with cooling air independently of one another.

A sealing arrangement for sealing a gap between two components which bear flat against one another on the gap side and which can be assembled only by transverse movement, wherein each component has a step on the gap side to form an overlapping stop and the steps are curved along their edges. One of the two components has a first groove which extends in a manner analogous to the curved edge and which is arranged in the set-back partial surface of the gap side of the component in question. The other of the two components has a recess located opposite the groove, and a modular sealing element comprising a sealing strip and a spiral strip is provided, which bears with its first sealing section, protruding from the groove, against a side face of the recess.
