A measuring device for a heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger pressure pipe having a pipe wall with a circumference, and an indentation extending over and deforming a portion of the circumference. At least one thermocouple is disposed eccentrically in the portion of the circumference deformed by the indentation. Filling material fills the indentation. A method for producing a measuring device in a pressure pipe of a heat exchanger, a method for monitoring an operating state of a heat exchanger having a pressure pipe, a heat exchanger, and a method for measuring a heat flux, are also provided. The size of the indentation can be decreased for a given size of the thermocouple due to the eccentric configuration of the thermocouple, so that the heat flux is obstructed to a comparatively small degree by the pipe wall while local overheating of the pipe wall is prevented.

A bearing system for a water lance of a water lance blower contains a ball joint having a ball with a surface and a diameter. The ball further has a passage, on and/or in which the water lance can be disposed. The bearing system is characterized in that a ball seat is provided and contains two axially interspaced bearing shells each of which has an opening, whereby the ball protrudes at least partially into the openings. A method for operating the bearing system that seals gaps, which can occur as the ball rotates, between the surface of the ball and the spherical contact surface of the at least one bearing shell. The bearing shells enable the bearing system to be easily assembled, and the small contact surfaces reduce the amount of friction during operation. In addition, the bearing system is also suited for use as a seal.

Ball-joint mounting for a water lance of a water lance blower

A water lance blower for cleaning heat installations is disclosed. A water lance linked with a water feed conduit system is swivel-mounted with its orifice disposed in a hatch. The water lance can blow a jet of water through the heating installation in operation and through which flames and/or flue gases are guided to wall areas that can be reached from the hatch. The water lance blower is provided with a drive system with at least two drive units that control the water lance, and with a holding device that fastens the water lance blower onto the heating installation. Further, parts of the water feed conduit system are integrated onto the holding device, thereby substantially limiting the size of the water lance blower to the swivel range of the water lance.

Compact water lance blower

Such water lance blowers can be installed even when there are unfavorable spatial conditions and perform any freely pre-determinable blowing patterns and speed profiles.

Drive system for a water lance blower

A water lance blower for cleaning heating installations, wherein a water lance (6) is movably (5) arranged with its mouth on or in a hatch (2) and can blow a water jet through the heating installation, which is in operation and is flowed through with flames and/or smoke, onto wall areas (A-E) which can be reached from the hatch (2), wherein the water lance (6) is movable by at least one movement element (8.1, 8.2, 8.3) which is stationarily fixed at one end outside a vertical plane through the point of movement (5) of the water lance (6) to the heating installation and by the other end (7.1, 7.2, 7.3) to the water lance (6), wherein path sensors are provided for precise determination of the position of the water lance (6). Water lance blower positioning system

A method for determining positioning of a controllable blower lance for cleaning a pre-determinable surface of a heatable internal chamber, preferably a combustion chamber, in which deposits form, wherein at least one site of impact of a cleaning medium of the blower lance on a surface to be cleaned of the internal chamber and at least one position of at least a part of the blower lance, by means of which the direction of flow of the cleaning medium out of the blower lance can be determined, are established and recorded and a correlation is established between at least the site of impact and the position, taking into account at least one parameter concerning the internal chamber, wherein by means of the correlation, the positioning of the blower lance can be determined for cleaning the pre-determinable surface. Furthermore a method and a device are provided for cleaning an internal chamber, preferably of a combustion chamber in which deposits form, with a controllable blower lance, the cleaning medium of which must strike a pre-determinable surface to be cleaned of the internal chamber, wherein a pre-determinable control system of the blower lance is superimposed with a correlation associated with the condition in the internal chamber and/or the condition of the cleaning medium, such that the pre-determinable surface to be cleaned is struck according to plan by the cleaning medium whatever the conditions in the internal chamber. Undesired shifting of the cleaning jet of a blower lance, caused by different operating conditions in the internal chamber, can be compensated for in this way.
