To connect the shielding of an electric cable to a metallic connector, an electrically non-conductive cable guide part that features a wall segment of an electrically conductive material that needs to be laterally opened sectionally is provided. Electrical connector for connecting electrical wires to an electrical apparatus

A connector is provided for connecting a cable by insulation-piercing connecting devices when insert elements are pushed together. For connecting a shielded cable, the insert element are provided on a contact element made of conducting material, and the latter are inserted with contact into a shielded housing. The braided shield of the cable is connected with the housing. The insulation-piercing connecting devices are located in insulating bodies that are accommodated in chambers of the housing that are open to the outside. The housing is connected with the contact element by a screw that extends in the plugging direction and operates to make contact.

Electrical cable connector

The invention relates to a plug connector comprising an insulation displacement contact carrier which accommodates insulation displacement contacts, and a plug contact carrier which accommodates plug contacts. The plug connector further comprises a housing which connects the insulation displacement contact carrier with the plug contact carrier. The insulation displacement contact carrier is provided with a thread for a first coupling ring and the plug contact carrier is provided with a connecting section for a complementary plug connector.

A multiple electrical connector comprising a terminal strip having a bore extending therethrough, a pair of conductor sockets mounted back to back on the terminal strip at the bore and an electrical terminal attached to the terminal strip. One of the pair of conductor sockets has a post and the other has a post receiving bore with the post and the post receiving bore aligned with the terminal strip bore and with each other. The connector socket post extends through the terminal strip bore and into the post receiving bore of the other of the connector sockets with the socket post riveted to the other connector socket.

For a sealing insert of a cable gland it is proposed that the sealing insert be provided with a peripheral step which is adapted to a peripheral step in the pressure screw and that the sealing insert be provided on its outer diameter on the cable insertion side with a conical bevel which is adapted to the conical bevel of the pressure screw, the angle of the bevel of the pressure screw being designed to be more acute relative to the longitudinal axis.
