A medical handling device comprises an instrument holder for holding an observation instrument that is equipped with an image capturing unit for capturing an image section. The handling device further comprises a robotic handling unit that supports the instrument holder and a control device that comprises a handling control unit for controlling the robotic handling unit and an instrument control unit for controlling the observation instrument. An input device is coupled to the control device for selecting an image section to be reproduced. The control device is adapted to control the robotic handling unit in response to user inputs at the input device to change the captured image section. The control device is adapted to convert operating commands at the input device into movement instructions, depending on a present orientation of the image capturing unit.

Medical handling device and method for controlling a handling device

A medical handling device which includes an instrument holder that supports and instrument and a robotic handling unit that supports the instrument hold, and a control device. The control device has a handling control unit that controls the robotic handling unit and an instrument control unit that controls the instrument. The control device has an interface for at least one input device. An input device is coupled to the interface. The input device is operable in a first operating mode to control the instrument and in a second operating mode to control the robotic handling unit. An enabling switch activates the second operating mode, in which the robotic handling unit is movable in response to input commands at the input device.

A medical handling device comprises an instrument holder for holding an observation instrument that is equipped with an image capturing unit for capturing an image section of an object plane. The handling device further comprises a robotic handling unit that supports the instrument holder and a control device that comprises a handling control unit for controlling the robotic handling unit and an instrument control unit for controlling the observation instrument. An input device is coupled to the control device for selecting an image section to be reproduced. The control device is adapted to detect a present orientation of the observation instrument and to control the robotic handling unit, while taking into account the present orientation of the observation instrument, in response to user inputs at the input device. The observation instrument is movable with respect to a pivot point in the object plane at a defined object distance along a curved path.

A method for examining the light and/or image transmission properties of an endoscopic or exoscopic system having the components endoscope or exoscope, light carrier, light source and camera, wherein at least the endoscope or exoscope is taken from a first supply quantity of endoscopes or exoscopes and/or at least the light carrier is taken from a second supply quantity of light carriers, wherein the endoscope or exoscope is provided with an identifier and/or the light carrier is provided with an identifier, wherein the identifier or the identifiers contain/s identification data that individualizes the respective endoscope or exoscope and/or the respective light carrier, wherein the components are connected to each other so as to be ready for operation in the form of a current component combination. The method comprises the steps of: capturing the identification data of the endoscope or exoscope and/or the light carrier, capturing at least one transmission parameter of the current component combination, storing the identification data and the captured at least one transmission parameter. Also described is an apparatus for carrying out the method.

An endoscopic instrument having a proximal end, a distal end, a longitudinal direction, an end effector with first and second end effector parts, a bearing element at the distal end, on which bearing element the first and second end effector parts are arranged, and first, second and third thrust elements, wherein the thrust elements each extend along the longitudinal direction and are displaceable relative to one another, wherein the first thrust element is articulately coupled to the first end effector part, the second thrust element is articulately coupled to the second end effector part, the third thrust element is articulately coupled to the first end effector part and the second end effector part, and wherein the first and second end effector parts have bearing surfaces, and the bearing surfaces are each held slidably on the bearing element.

Endoscopic instrument

Surgical instrument with a manual control device for actuation with a hand, wherein the control device can be displaced between a closed position and an opened position and the control device has: a finger lever with a first point of articulation and a second point of articulation, a central element with a third point of articulation and a fourth point of articulation, a connecting lever, which is pivotably arranged at the first point of articulation and at the third point of articulation, and a thumb lever, which is pivotably arranged at the second point of articulation and at the fourth point of articulation.

A carrier apparatus for a medical device in a medical treatment facility includes a device holder that holds a medical device and a container that receives the device holder with a medical device, such that the device holder can move between an upper resting position in the container and a lower operating position in which a medical device held by the device holder can be used by medical staff.

A carrier system for a medical treatment facility includes a track device that is to be suspended from a ceiling of the medical treatment facility and that determines a curved path, and a lifting device to move a medical device between an upper resting position and a lower operating position, such that the lifting device can move along the path determined by the track device.

Carrier system for an operating room

An endoscope comprises an elongated shaft, a headpiece at a proximal end of the shaft, the headpiece having a housing, at least one light source which is arranged in the shaft in a distal area thereof, and produces lost heat, and a passive cooling which has at least one heat pipe which is arranged in the shaft and is thermally coupled to the at least one light source in order to lead away the lost heat in the proximal direction. The at least one heat pipe extends into the headpiece, and a heat sink body is arranged in the headpiece, to which heat sink body the at least one heat pipe is thermally coupled, and which absorbs the lost heat from the at least one heat pipe and emits the lost heat to the environment directly or via the housing of the headpiece.

Endoscopic instrument having a proximal end, a distal end, a longitudinal direction along which the endoscopic instrument extends from the proximal end to the distal end, an end effector on the distal end, which end effector has a first end effector part and a second end effector part, a connecting element on the distal end, on which connecting element the first and second end effector parts are mounted and which connecting element extends along a transverse direction, a first pushing element, a second pushing element, a third pushing element, and a fourth pushing element, wherein the pushing elements each extend along the longitudinal direction and are displaceable relative to one another along the longitudinal direction, and wherein the first pushing element is articulately arranged at the first end effector part, the second pushing element is articulately arranged at the second end effector part, the third pushing element is articulately arranged at the connecting element, and the fourth pushing element is articulately arranged at the connecting element.

A display apparatus for displaying medical information in a medical treatment facility includes an image surface to depict information, such that the image surface is configured so that it can be converted by reshaping from an operating condition into a resting condition and vice versa.

Display apparatus for an operating room

A control system to control an operating room lamp to generate light to illuminate a surgical site includes an image signal input to receive an image signal from a video camera to capture an image of a surgical site and a control signal output to emit to the operating room lamp a control signal to control at least either a direction or an intensity or a spectral characteristic of the light or a size or shape of the area illuminated by the light. The control system is configured to recognize a hand area of medical personnel and to generate the control signal depending on the image signal and to emit it to the control signal output.
