A motor assembly has an electric motor with a motor housing and an electronics unit. A first housing shell is formed as a motor carrier and has the motor housing fastened to it. A second housing shell is in the form of a cooling cover. An electronics carrier is arranged in sandwich-like fashion between the motor carrier and the cooling cover. The cooling cover and the motor carrier exhibit greater thermal conductivity than the electronics carrier. The cooling cover and the motor carrier are coupled to one another in heat-conducting fashion at at least one abutment surface.

Motor assembly

A motor assembly with an electric motor has a stator assembly and a motor housing, and an electronics housing. The electronics housing has a housing shell, formed as a motor carrier, for fastening the motor housing. The motor housing has a first, pot-shaped housing half. The first housing half is fastened by screw fastening action to the motor carrier such that the first housing half presses the electric motor against the motor carrier by way of a housing deformation.

A motor assembly has an electric motor with a motor housing and an electronics unit. A first housing shell is formed as a motor carrier and has the motor housing fastened to it. A second housing shell is in the form of a cooling cover. An electronics carrier is arranged in sandwich-like fashion between the cooling cover and the motor carrier. The electronics carrier has, at the cooling cover side, a first, circumferentially encircling seal which seals off a first contact edge formed between the electronics carrier and the cooling cover and the electronics carrier has, at the motor carrier side, a second, circumferentially encircling seal which seals off a second contact edge formed between the electronics carrier and the motor carrier.

A stator module for an electric motor has a stator laminated core with a number of inwardly directed stator teeth and a rotating-field winding with a plurality of phases arranged on the stator teeth. The rotating-field winding has at least one coil per phase, which coil is electrically connected to a first phase end and a second phase end. A laying ring is placed onto the stator laminated core at the end face and surrounds the stator teeth as coil body in order to guide the rotating-field winding. An annular cover is placed onto the laying ring at the end face, on which cover each of the phase ends is contacted with one of the phase ends of another phase, in such a way that the entire rotating-field winding does not protrude radially externally beyond an outer periphery of the stator laminated core.

Stator component group for an electric motor

A setting device, particularly a motor vehicle parking brake includes a remotely-operated drive, a hollow shaft, a spindle shaft and an elastic element. The hollow shaft is driven by the remotely-operated drive so that the hollow shaft rotates. The spindle shaft moves relative to the hollow shaft within the hollow shaft due to the rotation of the hollow shaft. The spindle shaft is connected to a brake cable such that the spindle shaft can apply and release the brake as it moves in different directions within the hollow shaft. The elastic element is loaded due to movement of the hollow shaft as the hollow shaft is driven in an attempt to release the brake while the brake cable is blocked.

Setting device, particularly a motor vehicle parking brake

An electrical machine is particularly suited as an electric motor of a motor vehicle. The machine has a rotor mounted rotatably by way of a rotor shaft and a position emitter with a rotationally fixed sensor unit and with a sensor emitter fixed relative to the rotor shaft. The emitter is an injection molding with an emitter head receiving a magnet, in particular a magnetic dipole, and with a joint shank. Alternatively, it is provided, together with the magnet on the emitter head side, with an plastic over-molding forming the joint shank. The joint shank is joined to the rotor shaft on the face side of a shaft end by form fit, forming a press fit or an interference fit.

Electrical machine, in particular electric motor for a motor vehicle, and gearbox actuator

An actuator (), especially for a motor vehicle parking brake has a telescopic device () that actuates a brake cable (), and a drive unit which is equipped with an electromechanical drive for actuating the telescopic device (). The actuator () further has a displacement sensor unit for detecting the actuating travel of the telescopic device () as well as a force sensor unit for detecting the force applied to the brake cable () by the drive unit. The displacement sensor unit and the force sensor unit are disposed next to each other in or on the housing () of the telescopic device () while being separated from the brake cable (). The assembly has a particularly simple and compact design while reducing the constructive and mounting effort required during the production of the actuator.

Actuator, particularly for a motor vehicle parking brake

An actuator for a motor vehicle functional unit includes a force transmission unit transmitting an actuating force to an actuating member and being displaced by a measuring travel in a force transmission direction. A force measurement device detects an actual value of the actuating force and includes a spring acting in the force transmission direction, having resilient action counter to which the force transmission unit is displaced and being tensioned by the actuating force over a resilient excursion, a micro switch having smaller switching travel than the measuring travel and being actuated upon displacement of the force transmission unit if the actuating force reaches the actual value, and a stop element for actuating the switch. The switch or element are coupled to or fixed relative to the force transmission unit and the switch and/or element are resiliently supported to compensate for a difference between the switching and measuring travels.

Actuator for a functional unit of a motor vehicle

A device for generating a force applied to a component includes a force generating element supported on a resilient support device having first and second, or only a second, spring elements in series in a force transmission chain being stressed during force transmission. The first spring element is less stiff than the second. The first spring element is stressed by a first supporting force over a first spring travel. A spring travel exceeding the first spring travel and a force absorption by the first spring element exceeding the first supporting force are prevented by a first mechanical engaging device. The second spring element is formed by a spring module having a second spring stressed by a second mechanical engaging device with a second supporting force permitting the second spring to only be further stressed when exceeding the second supporting force. A travel sensor detects displacement of the force generating element.

Force generating device, in particular for a parking brake, method for operating the device and system having the device

A gearing unit of a motor vehicle actuator, in particular an electric parking brake, includes a gearing housing in which a driven first shaft and a driving second shaft having fixed rotational axes are located. A first toothed wheel is mounted on the first shaft and a second toothed wheel is mounted on the second shaft. The first toothed wheel and the second toothed wheel engage with one another through a third toothed wheel. The housing for the third toothed wheel has at least two spatially offset bearing points in order to adjust a transmission ratio between the first shaft and the second shaft. An electric parking brake having a gearing unit is also provided.

A setting device, particularly a motor vehicle parking brake, has a telescopic device (), which can be axially displaced by a setting unit () in a housing () or the like and which contains a hollow shaft () and a spindle shaft (). This spindle shaft is axially connected to the hollow shaft in a manner that enables it to rotate and advance and actuates a brake cable (). The setting device also has an axial advancing support between the hollow shaft () and the housing () via at least one elastic element () serving as a force sensor when the brake is pulled or in the event of a blocked brake release. According to one embodiment, a second elastic element () is provided for recognizing blocking of the brake cable () during an attempt to release the brake and, accordingly, after the release in tension of the first elastic element ().

A parking brake is disclosed, comprising a brake-actuating electric motor (), a brake actuating output shaft () driven by said electric motor and extending along a second axis (A), a brake-actuating linkage () that is adjustably arranged parallel to a first axis (A) that substantially extends perpendicularly to the second axis (A), and a drive connection from the brake-actuating output shaft () to the brake-actuating linkage (). The drive connection is configured in the form of a cam-type cam disk or gate guide () that translates the rotation of the brake-actuating output shaft () into a translational movement of the brake-actuating linkage () through an adjusting element () that is guided along a surface (F) of the cam disk or gate guide) forming a radial profile. The motor axis (A) of the brake-actuating electric motor () extends substantially perpendicular to the second axis (A).
