Embodiments of the invention relate to a method and apparatus for imaging. Specific embodiments can incorporate an imaging module having at least one first imager, where each first imager images a corresponding at least one first portion of a &#x3b8;&#xb0; field of view about a reference point, such that the at least one first imager images the &#x3b8;&#xb0; field of view. In a specific embodiment &#x3b8; is at least 90&#xb0;. The imaging module can also incorporate at least one second imager, where each second imager images a corresponding at least one second portion of the &#x3b8;&#xb0; field of view about the reference point, and one or more of the at least one first imager has a different magnification than one or more of the at least one second imager. Embodiments can allow imaging of a &#x3b8;&#xb0; field of view about a reference point with imagers having at least two different magnifications.

Method and apparatus for imaging

Methods, apparatus, and integrated circuits that provide radiation hardening through chip level integrated recovery are provided. The apparatus may include first and second circuits within a partition of an integrated circuit having isolated grounds and a state machine configured to monitor current leakage of the first circuit while the first circuit is powered on and to power on the second circuit and power off the first circuit when the monitored first circuit current leakage exceeds a first current leakage threshold. The method may include powering a first circuit of a partition within an integrated circuit, monitoring current leakage of the first circuit while the first circuit is powered on and the second circuit is powered off, storing values representing a current leakage signature over an operating range of the first circuit, and powering off the first circuit and powering on the second circuit when the monitored first circuit current leakage exceeds a corresponding first current leakage threshold with the stored values.

Radiation hardened chip level integrated recovery apparatus, methods, and integrated circuits

Methods, apparatus, and integrated circuits that provide radiation hardening through chip level integrated recovery are provided. The apparatus may include first and second circuits within a partition of an integrated circuit and a state machine configured to monitor current leakage of the first circuit while the first circuit is powered on and to power on the second circuit and power off the first circuit when the monitored first circuit current leakage exceeds a first current leakage threshold. The method may include powering a first circuit of a partition within an integrated circuit, monitoring current leakage of the first circuit while the first circuit is powered on and the second circuit is powered off, and powering off the first circuit and powering on the second circuit when the monitored first circuit current leakage exceeds a first current leakage threshold.

A device is disclosed for detecting and imaging an object comprising a sensor node including a sensor for sensing the object and a camera for recording an image of the object. A wireless sensor radio is connected to the camera for transmitting the recorded image of the object to a display node for displaying the image of the object at a remote location.

Laser sensor system

A hub joint includes a metal rod and pin for joining tubular members in three-dimensional space for assembling a frame structure. The hub joint enables rapid assembly, rapid reconfiguration, and rapid disassembly without using any specialized tools. Multiple hub joints may be used to form geodesic domes, freestanding trusses, space frame slabs, tetrahedrons, and pentahedrons. The hub joints allow different frame configurations that are lightweight, strong, durable, scalable, expandable, and portable.

A diagnostic instrument for determining a cardiovascular system parameter. In one embodiment, the instrument takes the form of a portable pulse oximeter comprising a light to frequency converter (LFC) as a sensor. Also provided is a light to frequency converter comprising a photoresistor and capacitor in circuit communication with an inverting Schmitt trigger and configured such that the inverter generates a periodic electrical signal corresponding to the amount of electromagnetic radiation illuminating the photoresistor.
