A plate link chain for a continuously variable cone pulley transmission is disclosed. The plate link chain includes a first chain link, a second chain link, and a third chain link having plates and being connected to one another by joints having rocker pins. The rocker pins have end faces configured to transmit friction forces between the plate link chain and cone pulleys, wherein at least one of the plates has at least one overlapping tip. The first, second, and third chain links form a triplet and have different plate assemblies comprised of a first plate unit or a second plate unit, each of the chain links having at least one plate positioned transversely to a running direction of the plate link chain and are repeated in the running direction of the plate link chain.

A plate link chain for a continuously variable transmission in a motor vehicle comprising chain links. The chain links have link plates coupled to one another by pairs of rocker pins and at least two different sprocket pitches. At least one absorption mass is arranged between two pairs of rocker pins in an absorption space within a link plate inner contour.

Plate link chain

The disclosure relates to a sliding system for a wraparound transmission for reducing vibrations and undulations of a wraparound means, the sliding system comprising a wraparound means for connecting a transmission input shaft to a transmission output shaft in a torque-transmitting manner. The wraparound means has a plurality of deflecting axes and a height oriented transversely with respect to the deflecting axes. The sliding system also includes a sliding rail which comprises a sliding channel with an inner sliding face and an outer sliding face, wherein the sliding channel defines a running direction for the wraparound means, and the sliding channel being divided in the running direction into an entry section, a main section and an exit section. The sliding channel has a setpoint height adapted to the height of the wraparound means.

Chain guide element

A plate-link chain for a continuously variable transmission of a motor vehicle. The chain includes relatively long and relatively short chain links. In long-short regions the chain links are arranged to overlap in a chain running direction by arranging plate-links disposed adjacent to one another transversely with respect to the chain running direction, and coupled to one another by pairs of rocker pressure members. In the long-short regions the plate-links of the chain links are arranged in a double configuration or in a triple configuration. Spacing or biasing elements are provided between pairs of side-by-side plate-links to provide damping of the plate-link chain when in operation.

Plate-link chain

A chain guide element having a first guide rail and a second guide rail which is spaced from the first guide rail to guide a moving chain therebetween. On each lateral side of the chain guide element connecting elements connect the two guide rails in spaced relationship to slidably receive a moving chain. First supporting elements are positioned on the laterally arranged connecting elements that connect the first and second guide rails, and second supporting elements are carried by a stationary component to cooperate with the first supporting elements so that the chain guide element is pivotable and is linearly movable relative to the second supporting elements.

A toothed chain, which has a multiplicity of toothed links and cover links articulatedly connected to one another by cradle pieces. The cradle pieces are arranged in cradle piece openings of the toothed links and cover links. The cover links form guide links situated at the outside at both sides of a longitudinal direction and hold the toothed links between them. The cover links are formed with link yokes, which have a respective opening for the cradle pieces, and with an upper and lower link web which connect the link yokes. An opening is formed in the region between the upper and lower link webs, which has, in plan view, a substantially trapezoidal shape with sides of substantially equal lengths and an upper side and lower side of different lengths. The upper side is assigned to the upper link web and the lower side to the lower link web.

A chain drive with at least two sprocket wheels provided with teeth having an evolvent spline, and a toothed chain that engages therewith, especially for a vehicle propulsion system, which toothed chain includes individual rows of link plates that have openings, wherein the link plates are movably connected with each other by rocker pieces penetrating the openings and have chain teeth. The chain drive is characterized in that the tooth flanks of at least one tooth of least one of the sprocket wheels are designed differently.

Low-noise chain actuation

A plate-link chain for a motor vehicle drive system. The chain includes a number of link plates articulatingly connected to each other by rocker members that extend transversely to the longitudinal direction of the chain and are positioned in openings in the link plates. Forces are transmitted through opposed, curved contact surfaces on the rocker members and on the link plate openings. The contact surfaces are formed in a cross section extending in the longitudinal direction of the plate-link chain and define upper and lower contact surface regions, relative to the height dimension of the rocker member. The link plate opening curves in an inward direction in an intermediate region between the contact surfaces.
