A method of operating a back-up aiming system for an artillery device having at least one back-up aiming drive unit and an artillery unit for a vehicle. The back-up aiming system is operated at least in the event of a failure of a main aiming system of the artillery device. An activation signal is provided to an interface to a back-up aiming electronics unit, the activation signal being configured to activate the back-up aiming system. A setpoint signal is read via an interface to a detection device, wherein an alignment signal with a setpoint speed and/or a setpoint torque with respect to a movement of the artillery device is calculated and set from the setpoint signal of the at least one back-up aiming drive unit. At least one alignment signal is outputted for aligning the at least one back-up aiming drive unit after the step of reading.

An apparatus for providing electrical energy in a vehicle, including a main energy store for storing electrical energy, an additional energy store, which can be switched over by the main energy store, a main switch for supplying the apparatus connection with a voltage provided by the main energy store, an additional switch for supplying the apparatus connection with a voltage provided by the additional energy store and a control device for switching the main switch and the additional switch over between a first switching state and a second switching state. In the first switching state, the apparatus connection is supplied with the voltage provided by the main energy store, while the additional energy store is disconnected from the apparatus connection. In the second switching state, is supplied with the voltage provided by the additional energy store, while the main energy store is disconnected from the apparatus connection.

Apparatus and method for providing electrical energy in a vehicle

The method serves for adjusting a positioning of a longitudinal axis of a weapon barrel. An adjusting angle of the weapon barrel is changeable by at least one adjusting element. The weapon barrel is arranged so as to be movable relative to a weapon support in the direction of the longitudinal axis. A positioning of the weapon barrel relative to the weapon support is determined by measurement technology. The measurement values obtained as a result are supplied to a control device. The control device acts on the adjusting element in accordance with a predetermined functional relationship between the obtained measurement values and an input value for the adjusting element.
