The invention relates to a method for fueling fuel cell systems (Sys A, Sys B) which are operated in an assembly () of a plurality of fuel cell systems (Sys A, Sys B), and to a fuel cell system assembly (). According to the invention, a method is provided by means of which a load () operated by the assembly () can continue to be operated while a fueling process is carried out by a fueling deviceassigned to the fuel cells (FC, FC) of the fuel cell system (Sys A, Sys B).

Method for fueling fuel cell systems, and fuel cell system assembly

A method for operating a fuel injector having at least one injection orifice that is controlled by an injector needle, in which pressure variations during the opening and/or closing of the injector needle are ascertained with the aid of a sensor. In order to determine the opening/closing instant of the injector needle, a variable that characterizes the velocity of sound of a pressure wave by the opening and/or closing is measured, and the wave propagation time, by which the needle or valve opening/closing instant is corrected, is inferred therefrom.

Method for operating a fuel injector

A fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine in which pressurized fuel is made available in a pressure accumulator and a fuel pressure prevailing in the pressure accumulator is ascertained with the aid of a pressure sensor and in which the fuel enters a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine through at least one fuel injection device. A slope of a curve, which links a pressure difference in the pressure accumulator during a fuel injection to an injected fuel quantity, is ascertained and the fuel pressure prevailing in the pressure accumulator is inferred from the slope.

Method for operating a fuel injection system

A method for determining a fuel mass of a single injection that has been injected into at least one combustion chamber of a combustion engine with at least one injection under high pressure. The method includes determining a correction variable for the single injection with the aid of a comparison of a measure for the actual amount of the injected fuel of at least one test injection, which takes place due to a measure for a default nominal amount of a desired single injection, and a measure for the nominal amount of the test injection. The method additionally includes executing a plurality of timely directly successive test injections.

Procedure for determining the injected fuel mass of a single injection and device for implementing the procedure

In a fuel system of an internal combustion engine, the fuel quantity injected into a combustion chamber is a function of an activation period, during which a fuel injection device is activated. A pressure sensor detects the pressure in the fuel rail and provides a signal. The pressure in the fuel rail may be regulated to a setpoint pressure using a setting unit and employing the signal provided by the pressure sensor.
