A toggle lever connection for connecting at least two toggle levers is disclosed. The toggle levers each include two grooves arranged opposite each other. The toggle lever connection includes a frame and a slider with one hook per toggle lever. The frame and the slider run into each other and can be displaced in relation to each other between a first, open position, in which the toggle lever connection can be placed onto the at least two toggle levers or removed therefrom, and a second, closed position, in which the hooks grip into the grooves of the at least two toggle levers, thereby locking the toggle lever connection to the toggle levers.

Toggle lever connection for electric switches

An overload release includes a bimetallic element, a tripping slide, a latch and an energy store. In an overload situation the bimetallic element actuates the tripping slide; as a result, the tripping slide actuates the latch, and as a result, the latch allows the movement of the energy store. The latch is provided with a latch area and the energy store is provided with a latching area, the two areas mechanically interacting in the latched state and the latch area being released from the latching area in the unlatched state, when there is an overload, to allow the movement of the energy store. Further, the latch area or the latching area includes a projection.

Overload release

A thermomagnetic trip is disclosed for an electrical switching device, especially a circuit breaker. In at least one embodiment it includes at least one first and one second terminal, a first heating element, a conductor able to be influenced by temperature, a yoke and a clapper armature. A current path is formed through at least the first terminal, the conductor, the first heating element and the second terminal. The current path is disposed at least in sections on and/or in the yoke such that a magnetic field acting on the clapper armature is induced in the yoke by the current flowing through the current path and wherein a second heating element is disposed in the current path especially between the first terminal and the conductor.

Thermomagnetic trip for small current ranges

A hinged armature arrangement, for a magnetic tripping device of an electrical switching device, includes a yoke, a hinged armature and a hinged armature spring for embodying a spring force on the hinged armature. The hinged armature is mounted at a first end in a hinged armature bearing. The hinged armature bearing includes a contact surface and a stop surface. The hinged armature spring is arranged on the hinged armature such that at least one first part of the spring force acts against a magnetic force, which is exerted on the hinged armature when a current path is energized. In a particular embodiment, the contact surface and the stop surface are arranged at an angle &#x3b1; of less than 90&#xb0; relative to one another.
