A method is provided for setting up a transmission link for electrical energy, in which at least one superconductive cable and a cryostat surrounding the same are used, the cryostat having two metal tubes arranged concentrically in relation to one another, between which a vacuum insulation is provided. The ends of the cryostat in the assembled state as well as the superconductive cable located in the same are attached on fixed parts of the transmission link. At least at one end of the cryostat, there is gaplessly connected to the same a tube body which is bent by an angle of at least 180&#xb0; and likewise consists of two metal tubes arranged concentrically in relation to one another, between which a vacuum insulation is provided. The superconductive cable protruding from the cryostat is arranged in the tube body at room temperature in such a way that it runs at least in the direct proximity of the wall of the inner tube of the tube body that has the greater bending radius.

Method for setting up a transmission link for electrical energy

A pipeline to transport a frozen medium is indicated which has an outer transversely to its longitudinal direction undulated limiting pipe, arranged inside are at least one metal pipe for guiding the frozen medium as well as a cooling pipe composed of metal for guiding a second frozen medium. In the limiting pipe hollow areas are available for evacuation. Fitted inside the limiting pipe are at least two transversely to their longitudinal direction undulated metal pipes for guiding the frozen medium, which are each surrounded by a thermal insulation. During the operation of the pipeline the frozen medium is led in different directions through both the metal pipes. Attached around both the metal pipes and the cooling pipe is a pipe shaped closed sleeve composed of a thermally good conductive material that is in contact with the cooling pipe.

Flexible pipeline

An arrangement is provided for a helically corrugated pipe made of metal, which has an end face extending along a turn of the thread of its corrugation and a connecting element to be fastened to the pipe. The connecting element includes a pipe piece which has a helically extending inner surface corresponding to the turn of the thread of the corrugation of the pipe. The pipe piece is mounted on the pipe in the corrugation of the pipe. A metal ring is arranged on the pipe piece, where the pipe piece has sections with different inner diameters arranged one behind the other in the axial direction.

Arrangement with a metal pipe and a connecting element, as well as method of mounting the connecting element

A flexible pipeline for transporting a pressurized flowable medium, includes two pipes of metal which are corrugated transversely of their longitudinal direction, an inner pipe and an outer pipe which are arranged concentrically relative to each other with the inclusion of an annular gap. A vacuum insulation is arranged in the annular gap between the two pipes. On the other side of the inner pipe is mounted a tension proof reinforcement which is connected at both ends of the inner pipe fixedly to the inner pipe.

An arrangement is provided with at least one superconductive cable and a cryostat surrounding the cable is disclosed. The cryostat includes at least one thermally insulated pipe which encloses the superconductive cable and a hollow space for conducting a cooling agent therethrough. The cryostat is constructed in the same manner as the superconductive cable located in the cryostat for connection to stationary parts of a transmission path for electrical energy. At each of the ends of the cryostat (KR) constructed for connection to the stationary parts of the transmission path, two spaced apart bellows are mounted in the cryostat (KR), and between the two bellows each of the two ends of the cryostat (KR) a thermally insulated and curved pipe piece is mounted belonging to the cryostat (KR).

Arrangement with at least one superconductive cable

An arrangement is provided for a helically undulated pipe made of metal, which has an end face extending along a turn of the thread of its undulation and a connecting element to be fastened to the pipe. The connecting element includes a pipe piece which has a helically extending inner surface corresponding to the turn of the thread of the undulation of the pipe. The pipe piece is mounted on the pipe in the undulation of the pipe. A metal ring is arranged on the pipe piece, where the pipe piece has sections with different inner diameters arranged one behind the other in the axial direction.

A coupling arrangement has a coupling body and a helically shaped undulated metal pipe which has an end face extending along a screw thread of its undulation. A metal holding ring is mounted on the connecting part resting against the latter, where the outer diameter of the holding ring corresponds approximately to the outer diameter of the pipe, where the end face of the holding ring facing the pipe extends along a screw thread corresponding to the screw thread of the pipe, and where the holding ring is connected in the mounted position, fixedly to the connecting part by resting fixedly and tightly against the end face of the pipe.

Coupling arrangement comprising a coupling body and a metal pipe, as well as method for assembly of the coupling body

A flexible conduit pipe for transporting fluids is specified, which consists of two corrugated metallic tubes, an inner tube () and an outer tube (), which are arranged concentrically to one another and are separated from one another by an encircling annular space in which a spacing means is arranged. The spacing means consists of a plurality of rings () which bear with a basic body () against inner tube () and outer tube () and are arranged at an axial distance from one another in the annular space (). The rings () have on their inner circumferential surface a rib () which extends in the circumferential direction, corresponds to the corrugation of the inner tube () and engages in a respective corrugation trough of the inner tube (). At least three projections () are provided at least on one part of the rings () on their basic body (), which projections () are offset from one another in the circumferential direction, protrude radially outwards and engage in the corrugation of the outer tube ().

Flexible conduit pipe

A plug-in coupling for cryogenic lines is described, having at least two pipes () fitted one inside the other like a male/female connection while forming an annular gap (), in which plug-in coupling the pipes () are releasably connected to one another by a flange connection () located at their 'warm' end, the annular gap () between the two pipes () is sealed at the 'cold' end by an annular seal () and at the &#x201c;warm&#x201d; end by an annular seal () located in the region of the flange connection (), and the annular gap () is connected to a safety valve () in the region of the flange connection ().

Plug-in coupling for cryogenic lines

A line pipe for the transport of deep-frozen media, consisting of at least two corrugated metal pipes () arranged concentrically and at a distance from one another, an insulation layer () being arranged in the annular gap between the two metal pipes (), the annular gap being evacuated, and a closing valve () provided in the outer metal pipe () being connectable to a vacuum pump, the closing valve being welded, vacuum-tight, into a smooth-walled metal pipe () welded, vacuum-tight, to the exterior of the metal pipes (). The valve body () of the closing valve projects into the interior of the smooth-walled metal pipe () and is flush with the outer surface area of the smooth-walled metal pipe ().

Line pipe for the transport of deep-frozen media

A flexible conduit for conveying cryogenic fluids has a metal inner tube and a metal outer tube. A strip-shaped spacer member is made of a material of low thermal conductivity, which is spirally wound on the inner tube such that it contacts both the inner and outer tubes. The strip-shaped spacer member is twisted about its own axis and includes a metal that is stable with respect to high-energy radiation and has a thermal conductivity of less than 25 W/m.K and a tensile strength of more than 240 MPa.

Flexible conduit

A pipeline for the transport of refrigerated media, including at least two metal pipes, positioned concentrically and at a distance to one another, an insulating layer made of layers of insulating material and reflecting material alternately positioned over one another being provided in the ring gap between the metal pipes and the ring gap being evacuated and a spacer in the form of a helix being wound onto the inner pipe.
